Draconator Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago When I gave up my message board (for the group Rush), I thought that message boards had served their place, and were dead. This place defies the odds. Quote
Poleshifter Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I have been around here since 1994 when I lived in Ohio. Changed my name when I moved to another state. On Sep 11, 2001, I logged in here first thing in the morning and found out the news. Lots of fun here, Belinda and all those folks. I was in an old thread the other day, and came across the poster John From Riverside, who used to be John From Hemet. Sadly, John is no longer with us. But not forgotten. Quote

Some were absolutely nuts, but that’s what gave it charm. Reminds me of the internet in its Wild West days before everything got washed down & sanitized. Even Chris Brown posted there. The community felt a lot closer and there a lot of fun contests. People lived & died w/ their player predictions. I certainly did hype up Gilmore to no end Quote

Rich@SDS@Nervous Guy @Simon @Canadian Bills Fan And this is easily the best NFL message board in the country thanks to all the bills fans here... Too many to count and name Just wanted to say thank you and go bills Buffalo716 -- a heartfelt post if there ever was one. I and others appreciate your deep knowledge of the game and your willingness to share it. On this latter topic, I read a piece on how the D could show man but really be in zone. One of the "tells" that its a man D is for the O to put a WR in motion to the opposite side. If a db fallows that motion, it's man. But the piece described how the db could follow the motion, thus showing man but the D was really playing zone. This tricks the QB into thinking it was man coverage. Here's the rub (no pun intended): I cannot find the post and I cannot remember how the D plays zone to the side the db vacated. Do you know the answer? Thanks Quote

I think it was the first day that SDS had completed all his prep and made the new site available. I could be wrong but I think that SDS is the only person that actually has a join date prior to September 5, 2001 and he's only a few days earlier. We be OGs, homey. Are you talking about the new site circa 2001? I bet there are many who were members of the old site, and hence can be considered "founding members". Quote
