The answer is because dads get to do whatever THEY want today. and if it is smoke meat well baby have at it 

 

We are having today a feast day here. Ribs, corn on the cob, WNY style macaroni salad with tuna fish, asparagus , watermelon and strawberries, rolls and a Key Lime Pie.

 

I ABSOLUTELY wish all the dads Happy Fathers Day. and I will also remember my own dad Ted. army air corps WWII vet , artist and the blueest eyes you have  ever seen 🙂 RIP

My 5 year old grandson made his own Father's Day card for me, his grandfather.  In it he wrote "To Grandpa from a most special kid..."

My wife got me the entire tragically hip discology on CD - I’m not cool enough to go vinyl but recently bought a standalone CD player because I just like it and I find when using streaming I pick the same handful of songs over and over. A+ gift! And a hoodie with “City of Good Neighbors” on the front. Awesome for living out here in CA. 
 

she killed it. Oh, and she took our toddler for a little outing (as first time parents we do nearly 100% of weekend activities together) so I could get my best gift ever - a nap.

Hmmm I never knew that was exclusive to WNY but yep that is exactly how I've always had Macaroni Salad around here!

that famous fish fry place in kaisertown I cant spell it wychecs? Like THEY make it was my families macaroni salad recipe. My parents never used the word pasta either.

I can post exactly how I make it. But the quantities will need to be altered.

 

all chilled

 

elbow macaroni- diced celery- diced red onion to taste- chopped hard boiled eggs- spicy brown mustard- a bit of yellow mustard-  sweet relish- MAYONNAISE

 

 canned drained tuna

 

salt-pepper to taste. mix well.  on top sprinkle red paprika. 

 

Chill and flavors will blend. serve cold

Is a little bit of nothing more, or less?  

 

 

Our son was over with his wife and two girls, 2-1/2 and 7 months. The older is difficult and very introverted and she’s hard to warm up to people, so I don’t push her. When she’s ready I’ll be there. The baby is much happier and outgoing, and I was loving our time on the kitchen floor with her. My son mentioned in the basement to my wife how fun I was on the floor with the baby. She said “Oh, he loves babies, but the older one is a lot like you were.”
