(And yes, the pretzels are therefore more valuable than Spector) I can probably work with that but the boss is going to want a bag of Andy Capp's Hot Fries thrown in as well. 48 minutes ago, Madbillsfan said: I thought we were done with guys. If anything, pay him to be on the PS and help tutor our LBs. We might need him due to injuries late in the season or playoffs Quote

"Thompson played at the University of Washington from 2012 to 2014, where he played safety, slot corner, linebacker, and running back." Torn Achilles in late September of 2024. Missed the rest of the season and was cut in February. Edited Tuesday at 04:58 PM by Beck Water Quote

BADOLBILZ Posted Tuesday at 05:22 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:22 PM (edited) Hopefully getting a practice squad vet type like Shaq Thompson allows them to run with less real LB's on the 53. They could really use that 6th LB spot to carry either a veteran or developmental type at DL or secondary. When Hoecht is activated hopefully he will be the 6th LB. BullBuchanan Posted Tuesday at 05:29 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:29 PM He basically hasn't played since 2022, so hopefully he's well rested? Quote

Morrow has been a career 3rd or 4th baker his entire career. Thompson has been pro bowl approaching All pro level much of his career. As depth and veteran voice in the room I like it. Again different style of player and a guy Williams could benefit from. 1 Quote

Thompsons cieling was much higher so as a rookie he got the start. he's quick downhill, he doesn't excel in traffic to collapse the pocket however. but he can move around the field as good as any depth linebacker. i think this is a solid addition to the team and look forward to what he can bring. Spector is trade bait. Trade for what? A swap of 2028 conditional 7ths? Quote
Bookie Man Posted Tuesday at 05:33 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:33 PM Oh wow I was expecting it say "...to the coaching staff." Didn't realize he's only 31. Seems like he's been around forever. Quote

C.Biscuit97 Posted Tuesday at 05:52 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:52 PM I had no idea he was still in the nfl. I think he was a pretty popular draft prospect here during his draft process. Quote
