In this Youtube video the doc anayyzing Tyreek's injury explains why he thinks the turf at Met-Life stadium contributes to serious player injuries (think OBJ's injury).

He explains at 6:45 of the video.

Why mention this here? Because the Bills play at least once a year in that stadium.

The new Bills stadium will have natural grass which is more forgiving.

The game was in Miami.

In his prime he was as electric on the field as he was horrible off it. A uniquely explosive player. Not sure there's been anyone like him before or since. He was a treat to watch as long as it wasn't against the Bills.

I have a hard time believing that he didn’t completely tear his ACL, and I also have a hard time believing that the surgery he just had was to repair an ACL. They want all the swelling down, and range of motion restored before doing that surgery— three weeks would be rushing it. Two days would be very unlikely, it seems to me. But I’m no doctor. But why make up a story? It doesn’t seem like they’re being straight.

Typically you would be correct

Though something as severe as a dislocated knee could injure the popliteal artery which would require immediate medical attention basically

And they would go through the entire procedure

tbf the turf there looked absolutely terrible.  I have a new very high def TV and it's so much more noticeable, could see the seams and worn patches

I agree legs don't bend this way without serious ligament tears or breaks

He's not coming back. An idiot owner will sign him based on his name. Stupid move though. That would be a waste of time and a roster spot.

This has Woody Johnson written all over it. 😁

I dont think he was supposed to, but McDaniel let the cat out of the bag in his press conference yesterday.

Right off the bat says its a "major knee procedure on multiple ligaments"

The actual quote is "um.. major.. um..knee procedure... um... on.. um.. multiple... um.. ligaments..."

That's what I was thinking, even though I didn't actually see him heading off (quit watching when I saw his leg sideways thinking it was going to be a long break).

Did they have time or cover to jack any needles into him on the sideline?

Maybe he was just flying high 🤷‍♂️

That’s where my head went too. I dislocated my elbow during wrestling practice (dude fell on my elbow bending it backwards 90 degrees…gross) and they stuck me to help me…relax…

It was like OWW OWW ow ow oh ohh ohhh woooww lol

I dislocated my elbow. Five doctors at the party where I did it thought it was broken. I was in absolute agony. To this day, 40 years later, it is the most pain I've been in. The shot I got to put it back together made me realize why people get addicted to heroin.

Exactly! It wasn’t even that the pain went away, my GAF meter just ceased to exist.

Crazy.

What got me was they put me in an air cast backwards so it fit over my arm. When I got to the hospital, the nurse didn’t know that and was trying to move my arm normally.

Me being a very fit, underfed (basically starved rabid), and hurting wrestler, expressed my dissatisfaction with her loudly…leading to the “ohhh wooow”.

After that I was happy as a clam moving it around for them, and showing everyone how weird it looked.

GAF zero. That stuff is crazy.

It's weird as hell because you can actually still sort of feel it and know "haha, I bet that really hurts"

But you just don't give a shlt

Would Drew Rosenhouse really lie?  I am shocked at the implication.
