Came home from work yesterday and my wife was watching, so I settled in to finish it with her … basically a higher budget Lifetime series IMO. Not my thing, regardless of Bills references, and subtly insulting to the podunk people of Buffalo, as opposed to the rich folk that the series is centered around … but, like I said; opinions vary Yeah, my wife was watching it. It was kind of throwing shade at buffalo a bit in my view. I don't get offended at that stuff though 1 Quote

Pete Posted Tuesday at 12:52 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:52 PM Show sucked. A few good Bills references is the only saving grace Quote

K D Posted yesterday at 02:06 PM Posted yesterday at 02:06 PM I saw a few episodes. The show really went out of their way with the Buffalo references. They had an Anderson's sweatshirt and the girl said they have good beef on weck and the guy goes "what's a beef on weck?" Also an entire dinner scene talking about Jim Kelly and Doug Flutie. The overall theme is that the family members from Buffalo are trashy and don't fit in with the fancy Nantucket crowd. 1 Quote

The mother commited suicide in car by monoxide, and gave coloring book to 7 year old megalomaniac, before being saved by sister. The father is alcoholic and abusive. The falafel manager was married with family, and having an affair with *****. And they were all Bills fans. So no, they did not portray Buffalonians in a good light 1 Quote
