Yeah, my wife was watching it.  It was kind of throwing shade at buffalo a bit in my view.  I don't get offended at that stuff though

I thought it made the rich snobs look bad and the Buffalo folks more in tune with real people!

The producer is a Bills fan. The series doesn't appear to be any good but I don't think any shade was meant.

I saw a few episodes. The show really went out of their way with the Buffalo references. They had an Anderson's sweatshirt and the girl said they have good beef on weck and the guy goes "what's a beef on weck?" Also an entire dinner scene talking about Jim Kelly and Doug Flutie. The overall theme is that the family members from Buffalo are trashy and don't fit in with the fancy Nantucket crowd.

One of the Buffalo girls is a drunken *****, the other is a cold megalomaniac.  The mother commited suicide in car by monoxide, and gave coloring book to 7 year old megalomaniac, before being saved by sister.  The father is alcoholic and abusive.  The falafel manager was married with family, and having an affair with *****.  And they were all Bills fans.  So no, they did not portray Buffalonians in a good light
