GASabresIUFan Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-owners-vote-to-permit-players-to-participate-in-2028-summer-olympics-flag-football Can you imagine having to play flag football against Josh or Lamar? 1 1 Quote
Orlando Buffalo Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I realize it is flag football so I was trying to figure out the "dream team" since it won't be full contact. Without picking any Bills my definite list includes: Lamar Jackson Christian McCaffery Justin Jefferson Jamar Chase Not sure how to pick defense since the ability to tackle is so integral who I think is good Quote

Buffalo ill Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Nobody (who matters) cares about flag football. Nfl players take so many PEDs that they pop tendons enough already. Quote
Doc Brown Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Since there's no tackling involved our defense would pry be really good at grabbing a flag. 7 Quote

eball Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I think a lot of NFL players would get a huge kick out of this and will be interested. Quote
HaldimandBills Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago https://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/3288796 USA walks away with Gold. Comfortably Canada walks away with Silver. Comfortably. Not sure what the point is? Is it to grow a sport? Or watch NFL players grind the other countries into dust as NBC laughs hysterically at the profits? The only reason to add NFL talent is so casual fans go, "ohhhhh I know those football players. Me watch." It certainly serves no purpose in actually growing the game to a wider audience. or maybe it does. Other countries basketball programs have exploded even though America destroys them on the court. Maybe China, Brazil, Japan, Nigeria, Mexico, and France will be OK losing by 100 points? Quote

Peterman's reaction time and throwing style made him too prone to interceptions to be effective in the NFL, but he was productive in college and has looked decent in preseason garbage time. Succeeding in Olympic flag football against rosters with little or no NFL talent is something he could easily do. The NFL could roll out practice squad players and preseason cuts and still win a gold. Edited 9 hours ago by dgrochester55 Quote

It was simply, “he’s the worst football player that I’ve ever seen and the gap from the US to the rest of the world is so wide that it doesn’t matter if he’s the QB. They will still win.” 2 Quote

zow2 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago There's probably so many awesome flag football players that aren't in the NFL, the USA really could smoke every country with amateurs and college guys. Any NFL players would certainly give the event some extra status, but in my opinion wouldn't make the level of play that much higher. Quote

Hopefully they got good insurance because you get injured in the Olympics you won't get paid by an NFL team unless had some kind of guaranteed money but may not qualify being they got hurt outside a NFL game. Matt_In_NH Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago The NFL approved this 32-0....wonder how the contracts will be interpreted regarding taking risks with outside recreational type activities....for players that have that type of language in their contracts. Quote
