Great timing for the Saints. I wonder if they'd be interested in a lightly used former #1 pick?

Why? They can have a horrible year and be in line to draft Arch Manning ..

Why wouldn't they trade their 1st to the Bills for Mitch Trubisky. Then the Bills can trade that back back to them. 😂

It'd be funny for Rodgers to sign with the Saints, leaving the Steelers hanging at the altar.

Steelers seem to be piling up picks. Not sure they all in for 2025 but we'll see.

I’m sorry for Carr.  He’s had a troubled NFL life.  I’m sure he’s a made a nice living over the years.  He’ll have a nice career in time as he’s a smart guy from what I can ascertain.

Maybe he follows his brother into the booth.

They won’t be interested in Rodgers. Carr wasn’t going to play this year anyways. The Saints are going to roll with the rookie. If he sucks, they’ll add the native son.

Kirk Cousins just started salivating...

According to Spotrac, he's made $196 million in his career.

The Saints are going to do everything in their power to land Arch Manning.

Obviously his grandfather Archie was the Saints quarterback for many years, and the Manning family is originally from that area.

The way the Saints are run it's more likely they trade for Cousins, rip up his contract, and give him $100m guaranteed by restructuring 20 contracts.  Then every salary cap isn't real idiot can do a victory lap.

No promises that Arch is even declaring for the draft next year. In the past, top prospects would come out early for the payday. Now with the NIL money a guy like Manning would likely make less coming out than if he comes out early. It will be a situation to watch for sure.

Technically, Archie is from Mississippi, but he stayed in NOLA after his career ended. The family still lives there. Arch was the QB for Newman, same high school Peyton, Eli, and OBJ went to. I’m sure the Saints would love to get him, and the city would lose its #### if they did, cuz they love their own and the family is basically local royalty… but you have to wonder if that’s what Arch and the family wants. If not, while I’m sure they would handle it a bit more delicately than Archie did with Eli and the Giants given their local roots, it won’t happen.

It will be a different NFL this year without ol' Derek, less crying, less big game heroics, and the playoffs will be just plain weird without his big games, leading his teams time and time again to unlikely wins.

The Saints got so unlucky, thought they had the guy who would lead them to the promised land again, as almost all agreed.
