To me this was the peak of the drought era. I also met my first TBD poster in a crap bar in Kalamazoo Michigan for this game. If you're still here I don't remember your handle, I was formerly Kzoomike. We had so much talent on this roster.

Bills Bengals MNF 1991.  Kelly throws a pick on 3 straight possessions.  Then throws 5 straight TD's. Lofton has over 200 yards.

There are 2 more from that year I loved.

I remember that. I was a sophomore in high school

The crazy comeback against Cincinnati in the Fitzy era. Completely irrelevant game that nobody outside of the greater Buffalo and Cincinnati areas saw. But lots of fun to go back and watch.

I was at that game with my son. Boy were the confident Cincy fans at halftime different at the end of the game. Lol

gosh a memory bank search reveals a few candidates to post about.

My FAVORITE. Gosh that's hard

Okay this one does stand out for me. Bills @ the LA Raiders at the LA coliseum I will look up the date to be exact.

It was a barnburner. I had hoped to buy tickets with the Billsbackers section. Instead hubby and I were 2 sections near field level  lower towards the end zone. Smack dab in the Raiders seasons ticket holders section..

You can imagine the horror possibilities from the fans you see on TV. Plus I knew of their reputation from being the AFC west rival of the chargers. BAD. I'm like holy crap

it ended up we had a total blast.  I made it clear I was not there to rabble. Just watch my team. And then the game was so back and forth scoring we razzed each other. It was GRAND

The best story of that day was Scott Norwood missed his third field goal of the game. I was LIVID.  I stood up and yelled NORWOOD YOU SUCK with total disgust

Then from a row below up comes this frail senior lady dressed to the 9's  coiffed head to toe in Raiders silver and black. Raiders cowboys hat VERY fashionable.

she walks up to me with a towel and with 2 hands waves a white towel  in front of me to cool me down. Then she says in this so cute voice

"I know how u feel honey, I know how u feel"

It was perfection and iconic and still makes me smile thinking of her

EDIT:  from Google this was the game.

One of my recent faves was the 2018 Bills-Viqueens in Minnesota.  I remember Josh diving for the pylon, smiling into the pylon cam.  I came off the couch and said, "THAT'S MY QUARTERBACK!"

This was the hurdle game that really sealed the deal for me with JA. Also, my youngest was born this same day, so will always have a special place in the history books!! 😀❤️

Yes, we all love the classics, but what random-ass games stick out for you as a great memory?

I'll start by nominating our home game against Miami in the 2002 season. Ricky Williams running wild, the snow coming out of nowhere, Bledsoe and Moulds taking over, Jim Kelly running up and down the sidelines in jubilation. Just a great, fun game all around.

im not a STH so the games I’ve gone to i remember.  In the 90s Kelly years I did split STs with a friend of a friend

my brothers BIL is a STH BIL adult son ( late 30s) bought PS ( he’s basically family to me. My brother dated his wife before he and his younger sister was born)l

another friend parents were STH in the 80s/90s

we have gone to games over the years around thxgvg- newvyrs.  Both me and my brother have returned tobuffalo around that time of the year. I didn’t go to last yrs game (49ers) because of the snow forecast, in 2019 I didn’t go because about 6 weeks earlier I had knee surgery. I was in town but was still walking with a cane and didn’t want to risk the ice I knew I’d walk on.

1. Kelly’s last game

Playoff game hosting jacksonville.it was a warm and rainy day with temps upper 50s

2. Ferguson Hail Mary game

I remember this game for a different reason .I didn’t get to see the hall Mary.  I was around the age of 11. I went with my brother and his friends. I was 12, my brother was 16 and a bunch of his friends we were going with were 18-21.  We were at the end zone end of the Hail Mary but e eryone wantedvto beat the crowds out,  I had with my a small handheld transited am/ fm radio so I heard the call onnthe radio and the roar of the crowd in the parking lot.

3. bills beat cowboys in their 2-14 years in the mid 80s

i went with an older friend to this game  it was on my bday

4. Steelers at Bills early 90s in September

bills won this game by something like 52-35. Bills had it entering the 4 th then the beer fights broke out all over the stadium

5. Went to the @Titans games in 2019 and 2021

6. I went to the first AFC championship game against the Raiders

my brother lives in downtown area of tennessee. About 1.5 miles from the stadium .A group of friends came down. We stayed at my brothers. On game day Sunday we were driven over to a tailgating area by the womrn not going to the game and then walked back part of the way where we got picked up. The 21 game was Monday night so only a few of the guys came down

Losman’s game winning throw to Price in a game at Houston.  He didn’t have a great career but that was a great pass at a big moment.  Absolute seed.

I punched a hole through the wall when he did that. Yes I’m receiving anger management currently L O L although that was a very happy moment it was just a release of frustration. My wife was pretty pissed off for a significant amount of time lol luckily that kind of stuff is easy to fix.

Broccoli Rambo picks off A-A-Ron Rodgers in 2014 to propel the Bills to victory. Shout out Jordy Nelson for dropping that surefire TD later in the game.

I pick that one because I randomly ended up at it. A buddy of mine has season tix and couldn't make it that day so he called me like an hour before kickoff like, "hey you wanna go to the game?" Heck yeah, pal. Sat next to some Packers fans and they were actually pretty cool.

My family moved to Buffalo (Tonawanda to be precise) in 1967, and I immediately became a Bills fan. That was a disappointing year, but I had great hopes for the 1968 season. However, Bills were down to their 5th string QB by the end of the year and finished 1-12-1.

But early in the year, I talked my father into taking me to a Bills game at the old Rockpile. We parked in some guys yard for $2, which dad declared a “ripoff”.

Game was against the NY Jets and Joe Namath. Namath was unstoppable (mostly) and threw 8 TD passes that game.

But, the Bills won 37-35. Turns out 3 of Namaths TD passes were pick 6’s.

As I recall, Jets were driving for a game winning FG as the game ended.

Only game the Bills won that year.

The game for me, was my first Bills game I ever went to. And it was a Monday Night game against Miami in 1981. Buffalo won 31-21. This video is great, as it shows the game, along with local coverage after the game from the likes of Van Miller, Rick Azar, and Ed Kilgore.

At the Saints, 1992.

New Orleans had a tremendous defense,  we go in to the dome late in the season.  It was a scary matchup.

Thomas had a great game, this was a tough,  hard fought contest. We won in a battle.

1989 week 3, Houston Oilers Warren Moon (HAROLD) run-&-shoot.  47-41 Bills, in overtime.  Cool moment: James Lofton runs a curl out right, covered by Cris Dishman, who makes a great high-point play to knock the ball away.  The two players get tangled-up as Dishman falls on Lofton's head, back, but James just balences and catches him as he trots out of bounds, then vcomes back in cayying Dishman piggy-back, for real, for like ten paces.  total big brother move, and super sportsman-like.

This game was the Lady Bing of the NFL
