Jeff George came in with great fanfare as the #1 draft pick, and there was a thought it could serve as a preview of a future rivalry between the teams if he turned out to be the real deal. Like you said, we harassed him all game and he didn't have much around him talentwise, but he hung in there until Cornelius Bennett rearranged his mental state early in the fourth quarter. I remember how euphoric the stadium was when he got knocked out cold (obviously, a much different time). What a terrible way to start in the league (even worse for his folks in the stands hearing the crowd erupt over the pummeling of your child). Looks like my No Huddle crowd eruption memory is wrong. 1 Quote
Mat68 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago 2003 Bills home opener. 31-0 vs Brady and the Pats. Timeless game. Big man touchdown. That game was great. 2 Quote
Conlan58 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Last year's game against Miami. We were in town for my son's hockey tournament and snagged tickets to the game in Early November. Ended up being a gorgeous day around 60 degrees for my two boy's first regular season game (6 and 9 yo) and they got to witness a game winning 61 yard field goal. There have been plenty of games that trump this one in product on the field, but getting a picture of my boys shirtless and flexing among bills mafia... priceless! 1 Quote

I'll start by nominating our home game against Miami in the 2002 season. Ricky Williams running wild, the snow coming out of nowhere, Bledsoe and Moulds taking over, Jim Kelly running up and down the sidelines in jubilation. Just a great, fun game all around. The 2003 season opening 31-0 beat down of New England. I thought the Bills were going to be THE premier 2000s AFC team. Mostly because of the defense. I thought they were building something special. If I only knew how bad it would eventually become. An honorable mention to the Texans game where JP Losman hit a couple 83 yard bombs to Evan’s (how poetic) and the game winner to Peerless Price. Just a great game with some huge plays that went down to the wire. Edited 14 hours ago by ChronicAndKnuckles Quote
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago 77 seconds- all hell broke loose from there, we were just toying with teams after that. What a ***** blast! 2 Quote

I believe the comeback game had same situation, but I may be wrong that it did sell out... i am certain was not televised which shows how technology stunk back then cause 400K people attended the game and did not leave, and somehow they did not know in time Quote
