Nike and the NFL announced a “rivalries” initiative and will be unveiling a new uniform that each team will wear for at least one divisional home game for the next four seasons.  For whatever reason, the AFCE and NFCW are up first and will debut the uniform this season.

 

The “rivalry” games will be announced shortly after the schedule release on May 14.

 

Specifics of the uniforms are unknown, but they will supposedly be tied to the team’s tradition and community.

This is a classic move that the over 30 crowd will call “stupid” while failing to realize that it’s being done for the under 30 crowd.

Please god, no.  Of course the AFC East would be one of the two first divisions stuck with them.  I swear to god if the NFL forces us to wear them vs. the Chiefs this year...

The rivalry uniforms can only be worn against one of the Bills AFCE rivals. It won't be worn against a team outside the division.

They talked about this on WGR this morning and one caller recommended a Zubaz theme. 

 

I realized this is a rivalry thing, but can you imagine the Zubaz Bills against the Bumblebee Steelers? There would be a national pitchfork mob rebellion.
