No cap = stop lying or stop exaggerating

cap = no lie / truth

Thanks.  I thought he wanted the NFL to abolish the salary cap.

Haha. “as I await my MRI, I would like to make a statement about the state of the NFL salary cap.”

Doc, I thought you were a Gen-zer for sure!

So basically at this point all rumours and nothing confirmed. Just alot of talk by the “experts”

Pretty much.  The only thing I think is true is that max did tweet the "stop the cap" and then deleted it since it's been screenshot on both mobile and desktop formats.

Unless people are going through the trouble of photoshopping both formats.

I will try to summarize the twitter stuff for some folks out there confused:

- Circling the Wagons (a bills fan podcast with 26k followers, who some on OBD claim has decent sources) tweets out that confirmed ACL tear (link)

- People reply to that tweet showing screenshots of Max's official account replying to that same tweet saying "stop the cap (lie)" and "boldface lie". These can no longer be found on his official twitter, as the thought is he has since deleted it (but not before people screenshotted it to share)

- SleeperBills on twitter also posts screenshot of Max's replies (link)

So either - Circling the wagons has good intel and the Max replies are fake (I do not think this due to how legit they look)....Their intel sucks and Max isnt ACL tear thus why he replied like that (and then deleted it due to his agent or someone saying so)....or, were somewhere in the middle. I think the middle would be he's got a slight tear or something where he can comeback this year, but its not total ACL. I think that both might be true here.

I don’t know where all the ACL tear stuff is coming from, but the word around campus is that it’s not season ending.

If you actually know more (i.e. "word around campus"), please explain.

Ive always found it interesting how a player is unable to make any public comment in his OWN HEALTH ( aside from some cryptic stuff) until the team comes out with an official statement.

It's basically the reverse-HIPAA policy.  Everyone else is allowed to comment on your health but you can't.

Yes because we all know that WRs are immune to ACL tears.

Technically CB's have a higher rate of ACL tears.

You said:

What position has a higher rate of ACL tears? Wide Receiver or Corner back

ChatGPT said:

Cornerbacks (CBs) generally have a higher rate of ACL tears compared to Wide Receivers (WRs).

Why Cornerbacks Are at Higher Risk:

Reactive Movements: Cornerbacks often have to react to the WR's routes, which involves sudden, unanticipated changes in direction — a major risk factor for ACL injuries.

Backpedaling and Pivoting: The mechanics of backpedaling and rapid pivoting to keep up with receivers put immense stress on the knees.

Open-Field Tackling: CBs often make awkward tackles in open space, which can cause hyperextension or twisting of the knee.

Data:

Several epidemiological studies and NFL injury reports over the past decade have indicated that:

CBs are among the top 2–3 positions for ACL injuries in terms of incidence per 1,000 athlete-exposures.

WRs also have a high rate, but usually slightly lower than CBs.

Summary:

While both positions are high-risk due to explosive movements and cutting, cornerbacks tend to have a slightly higher ACL injury rate due to the reactive and unpredictable nature of their role.

Good lord the internet SUCKS.

Imagine how much better things would be if we all realized this? Oh well, gotta go ask ChatGPT to run 157,000 simulations on how the Bills season could play out with a variety of Maxwell Hairston injury possibilities.

CTW has never been wrong when they broke news before anyone else so it's pry an ACL tear.

ACL tear. Any tear in a professional athlete is surgical. A partial tear doesn’t heal.

this happened w Von.

I imagine they’ll scope his knee and look and tug on it. Prob won’t have an official decision until that’s done.

of course Von scope ended in “totally torn and meniscus” and season was done
