i get being polite around suicide in the news but…. “Found dead” didn’t really give any color to the apparent saga his final hours were. Reading the story this morning I assumed he was discovered in his home after a discrete/private incident not that he stole a family members car via gun lead a police chase and shot himself crashing into a building 

In fairness to @Kirby Jackson, this sounded a lot more like “solitary OD/suicide in hotel” when the story first broke.

oh of course- I was saying the news coverage was a huge gap from what happened not that @Kirby Jackson misled us.

Not to mention I assume he wasn't going the speed limit/obeying traffic laws during this police chase in which he crashed again, so he apparently learned nothing.

she swerved left when truck in front of her went right. 

 

at 80 mph and 60 yards distance that is less than 2 seconds (1.53 seconds exact) to react.

 

none of this is to say his actions to take his life were good or anything positive. no lives should have been lost but because of the actions of Lacy two people are now dead.

I won’t claim to be an expert on the day in question but it sure seems like he heavily contributed with his own illegal choices.

frankly, from what we’ve heard it seems like exactly the type to be going to a grand jury to see what he could be indicted for and a trial for those charges. That he went off the rails doesn’t speak to the idea that he was confident in his behavior that night but…

If you listen to the clip I post above which is the full video you can see a lot more of it. The woman who died made the fatal mistake of swerving into traffic because the truck in front of her which was blocking her view of the oncoming car driven by Lacy. When she saw this she swerved opposite of the truck not realizing that Lacey was coming at her more than likely or trying to avoid his car by swerving into traffic. A split second reaction in less than a second as he was driving 80 miles an hour at her and she would have had less than 2 seconds to respond had he not swerve back into traffic slamming on his brakes 

 

It is clear in the video that this is what happened. 

 

Further the insinuation that the trooper coerced the statement is not valid as you can see in the video these statements are being told to the trooper prior to anyone making a statement. He is just telling them what to write down because they seem uncertain or they're not sure how to say it. Reading one of the statements you can tell the person doesn't have much of an education to begin with by their grammar.

Social media has been showing only 1/3 of the video all week........the section of video only after the crash and the green Charger came into view before the actual accident about 3 seconds behind and from what they've actually shown on this video, it looks like Lacy wasn't involved whats so ever in any incident, was only a casual observer and went on his way.

The public has been calling for the heads of the police for supposedly railroading the young man and coercing statements from witnesses.

 

Once you watch the whole video, it's fairly clear that Lacy was at fault.

 

I mean, the guy took his own life and i don't think he would have if he was innocent.

 

And i have nothing more to say on this.
