But he ran the fastest 40 time ever, BB is absolutely clueless.

The Ghost of Al Davis tried to draft him, but the man with the bowl haircut shot that down.

It's one year.  One.

Anyone remember Josh's rookie year?  Beane really dropped the ball on that pick, didn't he? 😁

I remember Josh's rookie year a lot different than you do. I saw the flashes of brilliance you want to see in a rookie & thought he was the answer at QB.  If you didn't think much of his rookie year, you were relying too much on stats.  Visually, he had "it". I was so confident in his ability that the next year I was all over Bills futures & won big. I also had the audacity to tell a Jets fan on my bus on opening day 2019 that Josh was a future HOFer. I guess since I rely on my eyes and never on stats, I remember Josh's rookie year a lot differently.

this won't matter if Coleman becomes a quality WR

if not however.....

It depends on why he doesn't.  If it's because the guys in front of him on the depth chart are playing like Pro Bowlers, and outperforming both Worthy & Coleman will it really matter?

Good idea letting a 160lb guy return punts with 200lb guys running at him full speed.

He led the SEC in punt returns, yards per return, and TDs and led the country in total punt returns yards his last season at Texas.  Why draft a player if you’re too afraid of getting him injured to use him?  Everyone said he was going to get injured last year, but it was Coleman who ended up missing time.  Injuries are part of the game.

Let’s be honest, even when that changes, nothing will change. Fans will continue to think they are smarter than they really are. A trophy will only shut them up until after the parade. The Bills FO will be idiots again by the next draft. Count on it.

Yeah I don’t believe that for a second. Any real, longtime fan like myself would prob be okay if they started the next season 0 and 4 if it was coming on the heels of a Super Bowl victory.

Should ask KC’s coaching staff.

Not sure I follow.  He played over 900 snaps last season, and now they’re talking about having him return punts as well.  Nothing about that strikes me as a team being afraid to use him. What am I missing?

Why didn't he return punts last season?

Probably because he was a rookie learning the playbook and was thrown into a much larger role than anticipated after Rashee and Hollywood and Juju got hurt.  He played 70% of the regular season snaps (week 18 excluded) and 85% of the postseason snaps.  For the sake of comparison, that’s 200 more snaps than Shakir saw.  No way they were going to have him split time practicing with special teams while learning Andy Reid’s playbook and building chemistry with Mahomes.  It certainly had nothing to do with fear of protecting him from injury.

Why didn’t they let him return punts last year when they really needed it? They opted to bring up a practice squad guy to do it instead of Worthy. Obviously injuries were a concern.

Hill returned punts as a rookie.

Unlike Worthy, Hill only started one game at WR as a rookie.

That may be but he did play a ton in his rookie year. I can see Worthy having an impact as a returner with his speed. But Bill’s assertion that KC coaches aren’t concerned about injury exposure to Worthy handling that duty is disingenuous.
