I don’t think it’ll change much for me.  I’m boring - I sit my ass down, maybe run for a bathroom break at the half, and just watch the game.  The sightline shouldn’t be much different.  For my wife however, I think it will make a difference.  She avoids the colder games for the most part and complains about the cold when she does come - so having the warm area to shuffle off to will probably result in her coming to more games which is a good thing.

 

I also don’t like the field club game day pricing for the new seats.  We are lucky that it’s in our budget, but it’s going to make it harder to invite friends.

Yea, the concourse is crowded but I spend the game in my seats.  
 

This new stadium is a hybrid between a dome and the current - not sure why they didn’t go all in on a refurb or dome.

 

I wanted a dome but I hope I got the next best thing in the new stadium. Seats under a balcony and one row from a concourse with heat lamps.

I originally had seats picked out like you described. Then I noticed that the seats were obscured. There are standing room only porches that obstructed my view down the field. Just be careful and don’t get stuck with those.

From a political and  sentimental perspective I would have been thrilled with the Ralph and the cheapest option.

 

From a fan/football perspective the Bills deserve a much louder stadium than  they have and they'll never get it with its current bones. Its just to sloping with open ends.

 

As somebody who used to have tickets in 134 and sat 4 rows from the field in KC, there's no contest as to what stadium is louder. Its really not even close. They're at 120 decibels on 2nd at 7. They have ear plugs listed on pricing at concessions.

 

And it's not the fans fault, it's the stadiums. With a new stadium the Bills should blow that away. It takes A LOT more work to hit 140 decibels with open end zones and gradual slopes.

My current seats are in the Rockpile 200s, so I'm used to only seeing half the game up close. I usually bring a pair of binoculars that makes up some for not seeing the game from the sidelines.

Bills on Pace to Sell Out PSL’s for New Stadium

The Buffalo Bills say the pace of personal seat license sales has picked up dramatically with the lower price points in the first level and then more recently, in the upper level.

But will this surge in sales be enough to get every seat sold and every PSL under contract before the new $2.2 billion stadium opens for the 2026 season?

That is likely to happen by early next year if the pace of sales continues as it has for the past several months. At that rate, the Bills may be able to sell around 9,000 PSLs during the latest quarter, from April through June.

The question is how many lower PSL tiers will there be? My rep said a $1,000 tier will be announced soon. Will there be anything lower? $750? $500?

I think $500 is a possibility. I believe both Allegiant in LV and US Bank in Minny went down to $500. SoFi went to $1000.

It depends. That’s pretty much been the point all along. They don’t release other pricing tiers until they need to. That’s why they were always going to sell out. They’ll make sure it happens. What was the revenue target and how close to it are they? That’s the real question and the only one that matters. We will never know that answer. The PSLs were always going to sell out. That’s easy to do. Doing it for a number that you wanted, or even higher, is the challenge. I doubt that they hit their revenue goal.

You're correct that we may never know the answer, but if they sellout early in March or April (as predicted in the BN article) that's a clear indication that they're very close to their target revenue. Legends knows what they're doing, they aren't going to prematurely drop PSL prices and forgo millions in revenue just to say "Hey look, we sold out 6 months early!"

The new stadium will seat around 60,000 fans.  Approximately 5,000 seats are designated as 'mandatory holds' for visiting teams, NFL personnel and Bills players families & staff.

So, 55,000 seats are available to the general public.    But, approximately all 8,000 club & suite seats are already sold.  In addition, a little over 17,000 seats are sold in the upper bowl, lower bowl and end zone areas. These are all PSL purchases per the Buffalo News.

 

Can the Buffalo area economy and our "regular, beer drinking, end-zone fans" afford to purchase 30,000 more PSL seats?   YES or NO???
