It's tough to sell the PSL's in the 5k-10k per seat range if you currently have ones available in the 3-4k range. They may have 10-15k fans that would be ready to put down their deposit on seats that come with a 2.5k PSL fee, but the team knows once those go for sale it'll be even harder to sell the more expensive PSLs. I kind of think that's the holding pattern they're currently in. Most of the premium inventory has sold. They're banking that the lower end inventory will move a lot quicker when it's finally made available for sale (probably later this year for early '26)......but in the meantime they probably have a surplus of middle priced seating that's not moving as well as they thought I agree, it all will eventually sell, it'll just become a moving target as to how the prices need to fluctuate to meet the demand. There's no denying though if there was a ton of demand the new stadium would already be sold out. The fact they still have nearly 60% of the new stadium seats to sell shows there's a gap between what they're asking and what paying customers are willing to fork over. The $2500 PSLs have been available for a while. A couple of people in our group purchased them last month. 2 Quote

I was under the impression that they were going through the current folks first? I would have an issue with that too!! The most recent people that I know of that went through April 24th. They are going into their 5th year and sit in 335. I assumed that they were still working through the list but with the end approaching. You're correct. We got ours for 2000 and those have also now been out there for a while. 1 Quote

I received communication from the Bills about getting season tickets at the new stadium, just because they've noticed I've been to games in the past. Multiple times over the past couple months a rep has emailed me about interest. same, I had a rep reach out a couple months ago to see if I was interested in learning more about PSLs. Thought it was a bit odd… 2 hours ago, PromoTheRobot said: I'd like to know why non-sth'ers are being given the opportunity to buy before actual season ticket holders? I thought they'd run through the STH list first before going to their season ticket wait-list. Doesn't seem fair. I finally got my call and got two seats but I had to compromise some on what I wanted to get, even though I've been a STH'er for 22 seasons. 😠 when I got the email I alluded to above, I figured that I’d be at the back of the line after all the STH’ers had their shot. I never asked though since I’m not interested in seasons whatsoever… i DID however inquire to the rep I spoke with about Standing Room Only tickets… he unfortunately didn’t have too much info on those besides the fact that they will exist. They could be situations where people were a part of a group and the whole group isn’t returning. Maybe they made some exceptions. I would be completely shocked if they just randomly called people on the waiting list before finishing with the current people. I highly doubt that they will. What they do have are league holds (networks, player additional tickets, league, opposing team, etc). When those don’t get used they can be resold on a game by game basis. That’s usually the Thursday of a game if there are some. There won’t be an individual game on sale though (at least that would be VERY surprising). The tickets available will be secondary market. This makes sense I have 2 tickets through my friend. He went through the stadium process and was offered up to 6 tix. They knew my name so I was able to get 2 tix in my own name. And I think his friend (not a current STH) got tix as well because they attended the stadium experience together. 1 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/bills-sell-25-000-psls-for-new-stadium They got the "80%" quote wrong. If 80% of season ticket holders paid for PSLs that would add up to way more than 25,000. But if every seat will have a PSL, this means there are still 36,000 unsold seats with 15 months to go before opening day 2026. PSL sales started in March of 2024: 14 months ago. @Kirby Jackson what is your opinion on the pace of sales? Is 25K in 14 months good or bad? I also think the drop in border crossings will impact both the Bills and Sabres. Edited 9 hours ago by PromoTheRobot Quote

I also think the drop in border crossings will impact both the Bills and Sabres. I don’t think that 25k number is inclusive. It’s probably missing the premiums which is like another 10k or so. It may also be accounts, not seats. I don’t know the average number of seats per account for the Bills. If it is 2, that could make sense. That would be 80%. The math isn’t mathing otherwise. I think that the 80% number is probably right. My guess is that the Bills current retention is 95%+. I could see a 15% variance with the PSLs entering. Either way, it’ll end up full. They’ll tweak the pricing if need be. They’ll dump large chunks to broker partners at a discount if need be. They’ll sell as many PSLs as they planned to sell. That was never in doubt. That’s easy to do because you can manipulate the inventory in so many ways to get it sold. How close are they to the revenue target is a much more interesting question? 3 Quote
