Solidifies the offensive line moving McGovern back to guard and replacing Mitch with a high quality prospect locked into a deal for 4-5 years.  It then moves Edwards back to the 6th man position and gives the offensive line solid depth with Edwards as the backup to both guards and RT if needed, Collin’s is the backup RT and can flex into a guard spot if needed. Van Denmark is the swing tackle. That’s 3 solid bench options.  I think the WR draft is deep enough where they can find a solid player at pick 60 and get depth in rounds 4-5. If they stack the offensive line the Bills can really be that power run team that over powers opponents.

Ralonzo
On 4/8/2024 at 1:57 AM, Dr. Who said: You moved up eleven spots for a 2025 2nd? What's the point of the mock if they are so outrageously out-of-touch with reality? I understand that one must accept a certain amount of credulous math, but that's too much. And then Odunze falling to #17 in the first place is highly unlikely. I think Johnny Wilson is a fifth-round pick. That's about where I think you can take a chance on him. I prefer Cornelius Johnson as a late rounder WR if he's there, but Flournoy is intriguing as well. I'd be surprised if Bishop is around past pick 100, but great if it happens. Tykee Smith is someone I like a bit later in round 4. Did you have a choice between Limmer and Bortolini? I think I prefer the latter, but that's a solid choice. Jordan Jefferson at 200 is another impossible happening. As you say, the value is nuts. Â We're only moving 11 spots at Jax spot. I think even if it takes the 2025 R1, if the right guy is there, it's not a complete getting of future assets which the Bills will need to provide a flow of cap-control contributors. But I don't know it's that outrageously out of touch. One of the 3 of 2025 R1, Min R2 and Buf R2 could well get it done. My plan A in mind was likely moving down to the top of R2 for (not Byron) Franklin and picking up something in the 100 range. TBH I think I do prefer a small move down and a Franklin or McConkey to moving up for Odunze, but I was curious how things would fall. Â Wilson as a fifth I think is undervalued. I don't worry about his separation because his contested catch numbers are insane. Think he can be a Cris Carter level red zone weapon. C Johnson is probably more rightly slotted in 5th-6th round but high-ceiling for that area. Tykee is fine if you can't get the USC, Utah or other UGA kid, he's got range but the others seem more explosive and Beane is focused on that. Â Bortolini to me is great in his movement to the second level but is Morse-like in that his anchor isn't the best, light in the ass. Just think Kormer has a type and Limmer has greater pop at the point of attack. McCormick in that area is also an option. Â Jefferson would be a good get with either 160 or 163. Sometimes the guy you didn't expect to be there is there, it happens.
billsfan89
The Bills in my opinion will be able to roster about 8-9 selections.  They clearly need a WR or two and likely are going to draft two (one at either pick 28 or 60 and one in the mid rounds). I think on offense they also need a third string RB (probably can get that in round 6) with some ST upside. They also will probably have room for one offensive line depth/development player.  They likely are also going to draft 2-3 DL players as they need at a minimum one DT and one DE to fill out that rotation. They also will need a safety and a corner for secondary depth and possibly two corners.  I can’t see a pick other than a round 7 flyer at TE, QB, K/P, or LB. The Bills likely don’t see K/P as a need for some reason and the starters and depth at TE/QB/LB are solid.

Yantha
In today's mock, I traded down and up and maintained 1 pick in each round of the 2025 draft (i.e. I didn't sell the farm....).  I'm all in on Sweat if teams let him slip for one stupid mistake. Remember Laremy Tunsil? Well he's been one of the better Tackles in the NFL for many years now.... Snap Sweat up if he's there at a great value. I got him at 51. Note the SPEED I added at WR to stretch the field with Worthy, and McCaffrey.  Added some linemen to compete, some depth at EDGE, a pounding short yardage back, and of course, COOPER DEJEAN who could be a starting safety right out of the gate.   1
