The most interesting thing to me here is confirming that bribes to recant are alive and well in the NFL. We see it all the time. Mixon comes to mind, tyreek, proli better examples. Where you there when the events took place? If its Cook's position she lied under oath, then his settlement offer seems entirely legitimate? As I said, he essentially, per the recent article, offered her money to now say something opposite of her previous testimony. If he was in the right, he wouldn't have (allegedly) paid for that--instead he would have let his countersuit against her and her lawyers play out, as he was seeking punitive damages as well.
