Schnow is always candid. - No detail on Diggs situation other than it’s a non-issue and media hype only. - Talked about how flat they were top to bottom for Cinci playoff game but couldn’t explain why. - Spent some time on Josh Allen of course, his running and impact to o-line blocking - Great things to say about Buffalo, the fans, and college-like gameday atmosphere. - Talked about trench battles especially in division and gave props to Jets and Dolphins d-lines. Expressed dislike for Christian Wilkins and called him a chirper (I’m sure he wanted to say dirty but held back). - Closed by going after McIntyre on his Jets fandom. The shirtless w sport coat deal the other day was comedy . We will see about Dawkins, but the game film shows a very uneven season last year. He has a staccato speech at times, where it feels like his brain is searching for the right words. Not sure what Cowherd means when he insists that a team with a running QB who goes off script (like Josh can do) has a harder time establishing a run game with the backs — is he suggesting that the linemen are less focused on written-up plays? Not sure I agree. I think it's harder to establish a rhythm with 1-2 RB's because you're not really setting up a ton of run first plays. A lot of this type of running is predicated off PA/option plays. As for linemen, maybe its the mentality that you have to sell a ton of your blocking as pass and you have to wait for what happens in the backfield to then switch into upfield blocking and trying to set running lanes off script. It's a lot more mentally taxing to do that than to just know that on this play we're doing X. Also teams tend to play a team with a strong running QB differently. There's ALWAYS a couple of players peeking into the backfield and keeping an eye on the QB and runners to close those gaps/limit breakaways. 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

God forbid he doesn't speak the Queen's English.😂 I've heard enough interviews from pro athletes over the years. Dion comes off as Anthony Robbins and Jordan Peterson compared to most.
