Only 5 goals and 10 assists this season. I thought he had a shot to catch Gretsky's record but not anymore. It seems like "Father Time" has caught up with him. They also showed much grit in their season-ending playoff push. But, frankly, they suck this year. Far too many disgraceful, uninspired games. How does a team let in 9 goals one night, lose and then pot 9 goals against one of the better teams a few nights later and win. Both Dorsey and Granato castrated the Bills and Sabres offense. "Don't run Josh" "slow down on offense Sabres, play more D". May Day 10 Posted December 29, 2023 Share Posted December 29, 2023 The season is pretty much over, and has been over for 3-4 weeks. It's depressing. Perpetually in a rebuild/plan that never bears fruit. The coach needed to be fired a month and a half ago. It was clear and 31 other teams would have been capable of making that move. I also feel like they’ve already tried creating offense like they did last season but teams have adjusted to Buffalo’s style of play.
