Welp, I've been reading up on the board, and it looks like Allen had another TERRIBLE GAME, with the Bills winning DESPITE HIM for the 8th game in a row.

3 Fumbles!  2 INTS!  Completions under 60%!  This guy is a liability.

BAD JOSH!  I'm tired of HERO BALL.  The ARM ARROGANCE.  352 Yards with long shots to Diggs, Davis and Shakir just don't make up for it. Neither does the perfectly placed TD pass to Knox.  Or the timely run to pick up a key 1st down.  This guy does not deserve a roster spot, let alone a game ball.

It's time to get Keenum and Barkley ready to go for next week, because they RESPECT BALL SECURITY.

Go Bills!

Don’t embarrass yourself with these silly posts. “Its time to get Keenum and Barkley ready to go for next week because they RESPECT BALL SECURITY “ You’re just a pathetic, frustrated Bears fan who gets some sick pleasure out of trolling a winning board. Try and absorb this, Josh had a couple of picks, one being a tip that was right in Beasley’s chest and the other a ball that Smoke never made an attempt on. The strip sack was on him and he owned it. More importantly, after the strip sack and score, how did Josh respond? Two TD drives with a perfect pass to Davis. Long story short ChicagoDick, Bills advance to Divisional rd,at home after their 8th straight win. Try and restrict your comment to weather conditions or tailgating.

If no one is ever allowed to criticize Josh Allen or point out times when he makes boneheaded plays, it's gonna be a loooooong decade around here.

Josh Allen is the primary reason the Bills are yearly Super Bowl contenders.

Josh Allen sometimes makes really dumb decisions, disregards situational football, and needlessly puts the ball in harm's way.

Both of these things can be true!

It is OKAY to point out that Josh Allen -- despite being an elite franchise quarterback who may go down as the best the Bills have ever had -- sometimes makes bad plays, sometimes costs the team points, sometimes keeps lesser opponents in games with his carelessness. It's OKAY! It's OKAY to critique your quarterback! It doesn't make you any less of a fan!

The "no one is allowed to badmouth Josh Allen" hero worship is ridiculous.

I agree with this 100%. But let's be honest people take there criticism to the next level around here, don't forget a few weeks back we were hearing the whole crowd of people who were saying maybe we should bench Josh for a game or 2  and let Case play. Yes Josh has struggled this year and has done some things that he shouldn't in games but that can be said for every Qb in the league. Pointing out mistakes is fine but calling for a benching is definitely next level buffonery.

I'll take Josh over any other qb in this league and will ride with him, win or lose, until he decides to call it a career. He has brought more joy and hope to this franchise than anyone I can remember, and I go back to the Jack Kemp, Lou Saban teams. He also is as important to the WNY community off the field. He is our general and would not want anyone leading us in battle. Go Bills!!🏈🍻

Well I definitely agree with that. I haven't read through all the pages of foolishness in response to yesterday's game, but I'm sure a lot of it is over the top.

Anyone calling for him to be benched or not conceding that he is, overall, an elite quarterback and the main reason the Bills win games, is being silly. On the other hand, I see far too much pushback any time anyone says ANYTHING negative about Josh Allen.

Yesterday was Allen's sixth game in 17 starts this season with at least two turnovers. Fans should be allowed to point out that Josh needs to be better than that if the Bills want to win championships. That's all. It's not crime or heresy to critique Josh Allen.

Go back to the film of the Rams game. Quick passes for the most part, under 3 seconds. Mix in the running game that's developed over the year and there's the formula.

I'd like to see more no-huddle offense too. Quicken the pace.

I worry about manchild Josh. Time after time he steps back and chucks it middle or long, like back in the old neighborhood. They need to shorten his game and put him on a bit of a leash. Allen seems like he's calling his own shots and over and over, there's no variety. Not impressed with Dorsey. There's a reason he's not on the sideline like other OC's. I'd get a new OC next year.

A lot of things can be true at once. W/o Josh there is a very little chance we are in the playoffs, our o line is a liability and Josh needs to do better protecting the ball.

No doubt!

We win or lose with Josh’s successes or failures.  Ultimately he is the biggest reason we are where we are… and I wouldn’t trade him for the world.. warts and all.

But if we want the very best version of Josh, we need a top level O-Line. Plain and simple. And we are so far from that.
Josh’s turnovers would drop significantly if he wasn’t playing pressured, or feeling the need to go hero-ball style. Also, a consistent running game takes that heat off too.

This complaint after the dolphins game baffles me but I’d agree with it in some prior games…he threw maybe one risky low percentage deep pass that ironically hit diggs right in the hands.  Everyone else was open(not sure what happened on the brown play but he definitely had a step then seemed to run the wrong route)…the dolphins were jamming everyone/flooding the middle and trying to single cover the outside receivers.

they were daring us to go deep and just hoping josh couldn’t connect on the throws or the pass rush would get home. Coverage was tight on a lot of the underneath throws

My solution is we HAVE to stop turning the ball over.

The OC needs to help him, but Josh needs to make better decisions. He said it himself after the game. He can't keep putting the team in bad positions.

Last night was the full Josh Allen Experience. Incredible plays and bonehead mistakes. That is enough to get past a poor Miami team. But if you give Joe Burrow 7 points and another 4 short fields (2 on offense, 2 on STs) you will lose.

Yes, the turnovers were killers. Also, Tyler Bass' kickoff out of bounds was bad as well.

How many time consuming, sustained touchdown drives did the Dolphins have yesterday? One!

The frustrating thing is look at how good the offense was doing in the first quarter. Granted, they had a short field from the Marlowe interception, but they were capitalizing on mistakes from the Dolphins.

Yes, we need to mix things up some more. Just like that quick strike to Beasley that went for over 20 yards. How often did we see that this year?

Terrific. But that’s not good enough. Allen is a panicked, erratic, inaccurate, turnover machine. His decision making is inexplicable. His ball security is non-existent. It may be injuries, it may be distrust in the play calling/OL, or it may be who he is. But no more whitewashing and no more pretending he’s better than he is.

I bet your one of the fans who wanted Rosen

He needs to fix the mistakes and not press. The deep pick and the handoff to Cook that josh should have kept were big mistakes. Tbh, he needs to relearn how to take checkdowns. It ok to take 5 yards a pop. That will open up the intermediate and deep game and negate the blitz

Absolutely not.   It was that constant deep threat and the effectiveness of those deep plays that was torching the Dolphins.   The Dolphins were on cover 0 and 1 and were blitzing like hell and Josh was making them pay.   He is the best down the field thrower in the league and the reintroduction to that the past 2 games is exactly what this team, Josh Allen and Gabe Davis needs to make teams pay.

The Josh Brown int was a miscommunication between the two.   The only real costly mistake that was on Josh that game was the fumble, that one was on him.

Also, the dropped passes were huge.  The drop by Knox I think sort of took the sails out of the offense and what they were doing....And then the drop by Shakir was huge, it was 17-9 at that time, very real chance if he catches that, that the Bills go into half either 24-9 or 20-9.   Much different looking game.

Fun fact - THREE of our 5 WRs today - one is a rookie that hardly plays and the other 2 just rejoined the team a month ago.

Josh Allen continues to do more and asked to do more with less then any QB.

Not only did they just join the team a month ago but both of them were in street clothes before coming here. What's amazing is that Allen has thrown TD passes to both of them!

While he was the reason they won. He was also the reason we almost lost to a 3rd string QB.

There was a reason in the post game speech he thanked the team 3 times.

I want Josh to play hero ball when its needed. Always. I saw some plays where Josh should have just checked it down.

He was feeling himself and he got a little carried away with the deep shots. (Although most of them were nice balls) Then he got rattled in the 2nd and early 3rd qtr. He needed that big run to get himself poised again towards the end of the game.

Sorry, jumped the gun. I didn’t realize you were responding to some delusional posters. My apologies.

The media fixates on interceptions, but Allen is not a checkdown QB.

You want that offense, go watch the Chargers.

Exactly.  Allen is a gunslinger.  He lets it rip.  If Shakir catches the deep ball in the 2nd qtr and Knox catches the TD that the refs ruled was trapped, the game would have been pretty much over.  The TD passes to Knox and to Davis were perfect throws.  As was the long ball to Diggs.  With Josh at QB we always have a chance regardless of where we are on the field.
