I thought someone would be noting that as I can imagine what was being said online during the game at what were terrible plays/calls.

The scoreboard frankly doesn't belie that the Bills were the much better team yesterday.

Yes can argue the Chiefs would have had 6 more (Int and missed short FG), but then again gifted them a 62 yarder before halftime (Frazier again terrible defence).

But geez the Bills should have had a minimum of 14 more points.  McKenzie cost them 10-14 himself and then a great 3rd & 1 call.

When the Bills get it all together, watch out.

The good news, is they've now prevailed in two close games.😉

This reminds me that I was going to start a thread about all the mistakes the Bills made in their playoff game against the Pats* last year. Sure, they scored touchdowns on every offensive possession, but they missed TWO extra points and gave up 17. Disgraceful that it wasn’t 49-0. Hell, if they’d have made the Pats* go 3-and-out every possession they could’ve scored 70. So much left on the field that day.

not quite the same with the last few games.

Sure, it's easy to say Josh missed open targets, made bad reads, and motor missed a few holes, Josh fumbling, missed interceptiosn.

But yesterday specifically:

McKenzie dropped a dumb Josh pitch - if better communicated and all then we make that play.

McKenzie dropping a pass which could have been a touchdown

There were a few more but i don't even care but we had specific scoring plays we should have made.

Three incomplete passes on 2nd and goal from the 4, when Motor was tearing up that ass.

All teams leave points out there.  The Bills and KC are the two best teams in the league.  This was never going to be a blowout.

Good tweedledum & tweedledee back to back posts.  That fg before half was again a result of terrible defensive play calling.  I just was pointing out something that was an exact copy of 13 seconds.

No it wasnt.  It was a result of a missed tackle in the open field resulting in at least 10 extra yards of offense as well as a free clock stoppage out of bounds.

I did.  The Int KC's first drive should have been a FG and they missed a chop shot.  Anything as egregious as McKenzie's errors?  The fumble was 1st down, the Int was 3rd.

So an int is not as egregious as a dropped pass ok lol.  As far as the fumble, McK wasnt expecting the ball because the play was a screen to the other side of the field.

It's truly impressive that this team still probably hasn't played their best game yet and is sitting at 5-1 coming out of the most difficult part of their schedule on paper.

Whats impressive was your talk all week sucking Mahomes balls and claiming Josh is not on his level and could never beat the Chiefs.

That can also be said of your opinions.  See how that works.  The gameday threads are hilarious with its overreactions.

In the past I've likened it to tweener girls voting on their favorite boy band.  Since then, I stopped, not wanting to denigrate tween girls.

I wouldn't mind seeing someone do an in-depth comparison of 13 seconds and yesterday's 16 seconds, but it's also neither here nor there.

Yesterday I definitely think was an execution issue on the players, Milano and Taron.

Fanatic doesn't mean to be knee jerk every time something doesn't go their way.

Right.  It means bashing the Bills for every bad play.  Disappearing when the Bills are doing good things.  Calling the game over in the first quarter.  Wanting McD and Frazier fired by halftime.  Then vanishing when the Bills win.

I mean the guy had him in the open field.  Dont know which player it was but they werent making a field goal from there. Either KC used their last timeout or the clock expired.  Either way the clock expires on the next play.  The play was there.  Our defender got juked out of his shoes.  Our defender was in position to make the tackle at the 35 with 7 seconds on the clock, short of the first down, and with KC only having one time out left.  Instead the defender got his ankles broken, the receiver got to the 48 and went out of bounds.  No it wasnt prevent defense either.  It was the same two high safety look they played most of the game. 3 man rush with Milano on spy duty.

Almost getting to the point that anything under a 60 yarder and you expect the kicker to make it.

Here's an interesting take and a different perspective:  we're seeing lots of these really long kicks throughout the league.  And the 62 yarder from yesterday cleared the bar by a lot.  That kick might have been good from 70.  The same kicker missed a much shorter kick later in the game.  I think that he made the 62 yarder, and we are seeing these longer kicks succed, because nobody expects the kickers to make these.  They just go out and give it a boot without much pressure.  If they miss, nobody is going to criticize them.  They are literally and figuratively "long shots."  They are EXPECTED to make shorter kicks, however, which creates more pressure and leads to misses.  The same thing happened to the Chiefs the prior week.  Their kicker made a 59 yard FG, but missed a PAT.

I see it when I play golf.  Early in the round, I go out there expecting to play well.  I muff makeable putts and shank drives into wide open fairways.  My score on the front 9 is terrible.  I basically give up on trying to get a decent score, have a few beers, relax, and just play out the back 9 for fun.  No more pressure on myself.  And guess what - that's when I boom the 300 yard drive and make the log putt.  It's not an exact parallel, but clearly there's a significant mental part to golf that similarly applies to FG kicking.  I don't know that NFL FG kickers are having a few beers at halftime to relax, but maybe it would help them too.

That is what people are doing in their living rooms.  Owners, players, and coaches all know it comes with the territory.  The time to worry is when the fans don't care enough to get really upset or excited.  That is what the Bills used to be.

Sorry, I am not sitting in my living room yelling fire McD, fire Frazier, the team sucks and will never beat KC, game is over (during the first quarter and every drive we dont score or something.)

Sure I may yell at individual plays that dont go well but the GDT is over the top with hot takes. People act like the game is over in the first quarter and all they do is B word, call for people to be fired, and act like our team is dog *****.  Some of those people completely disappear and say absolutely nothing when we score or march down the field.  Then they show up again for more bad plays.  I dont do any of that in my living room.

It was Taron vs McKinnon

Bills have shot themselves in the foot a lot this year, they are just a lot better then everyone else.

4 turnovers against Rams took points off the board and gave the Rams points.

Sack fumble against Phins gave them 7

INT and fumble gifted Ravens 10 points

Fumble and drop in endzone took 10 points of the board.

Gotta clean some ***** up

People are giving you a hard time, but I have to agree. The Bills get into situations this season where they should get some sort of points, but shoot themselves in the foot.

The thing is, they are so good they can dig themselves out of the hole. I also think they could get sharper as the season goes on.
