There are so many injuries to track now, thought it would help to keep a thread for that going into week 3. We should get some initial updates today from McDermott but the first injury report won’t be until either tomorrow or Thursday.

we will be looking at-

Gabe Davis - ankle (injured in practice 9/17, returned to practice 9/21 - questionable for game)

Tim Settle - calf (returned to practice 9/17 - questionable for game)

Mitch Morse - elbow (injured vs titans, questionable for game)

Dane Jackson - neck(injured vs titans, out for game )

Micah Hyde - herniated disc (injured vs titans, season-ending IR)

Matt Milano - stinger (injured vs titans,  returned to practice 9/21 - no game designation)

Jordan Phillips - hamstring (injured vs titans, DNP all week,  out for game)

Good idea Yolo.

Obviously a great decision in retrospect to sit Gabe, Ed, and Tim last night…the hope would be all are ready to go Sunday.

Not worried about Mitch or Matt.

My early prediction is that we’ll be without Dane, Jordan, and Micah next week.

I don't think Micah will miss the game.

I think we can miss Phillips with oliver and settle back.

Memory is failing me - didn't Phillipis destroy against the Fins in the past or was he useless? i remember one being hte case - but think he usually dominated these games.

I think Phillips was big in the Miami games, but if Settle/Ed are back I agree we can make do.

Hope you’re right about Micah.

I think he did because he hates them from his time there

Mitch Morse returned to the game last night.

He will probably get some lighter work this week, but I would expect him to be good going forward.

Tim Settle practiced Saturday, so I imagine he is close.

Everyone else is a total mystery.

Not likely IMO.  McD will come out and say something like he hasn’t had a chance to talk with medical staff.  He will give the same answer about Dane he gave last night.

We might get some general updates on the more serious ones like "He's going to be week to week" meaning expect those players to miss a game or two

This has to be the most concurrent  injuries they've had in many years. Dammit.

Yeah but, we'll get them all out of the way early.

Sam Martin punted 3 times so he could be a little sore

Did you see him jumping around like a little kid after he got to punt?

phillips played for miami? i thought that was lawson....

i just looked. forgot he was 2nd round pick for Miami.

I suspect Phillips (like a lot of team sports people) needs to be managed/coached a certain way. And so far, it's only McDermott and Co who know how to do it. I get the impression he needs to feel loved and be given the impression he can be a bit of a free spirit on the field but McD/Frazier get it done under the confines of their system.

One man's junk is another man's treasure so to speak. You just need to know how to polish said treasure as well.

Sounds like Phillips could have been more of a cramp than a bad hammy injury?  He was on sideline at end of game/ showed no wrap or limp when leaving locker room

Please tell me this is true.

Man i saw that when it happened & wondered what went wrong & was hoping it wasn't a knee or something . Dude has been a beast for us i hope he can recover and come back as strong as he has been the Bills will need his presence to continue their dominance on that side of the ball .

Prayers up to Great Dane i hope his injury isn't as serious as it looked !!

we'll need to sign a CB if down Dane, right?

If Dane Jackson's injury ends up just being a muscle injury then there is a real chance he can play this weekend.  Same with Hyde.  It will just be a pain tolerance issue.  I'm hopeful we have everyone back but Jordan Phillips in Miami.
