I think Shaq Lawson might have gotten himself a backup job.

There are gonna be some very tough cuts off the D line. Gonna be tough cuts elsewhere. Cuts that not too long ago would have been potential starters on this team. Great problem to have.

I'd be surprised if they are able to sneak Blackshear to PS - he had two good performances for other teams to see

Kind of crazy how Shakir seems to always be open - it's not like he's breaking ankles with crazy moves - he just always seems to get to the right place

I think the top nine among the d-line is a lock at this point with Shaq/Boogie/AJ battling for two of the three spots each week during the regular season.

I think he can get to the PS.  There will be a ton of NFL proven RBs cut.  Duke Johnson for example.

If I remember correctly, Shakir's draft profile was high on his route running.

Cook flashed. That outside run and the 6 yard pickup for the first were smooth.

That's something I noticed about his running.  The other backs run just as hard and fast but Cook has a stride in his running that just looks, as you put it, smooth.

Again, top to bottom, this team is so well prepared.  Everyone knows his job, and they do a good job executing.

I wish we'd seen the first team against theirs, but that's one of the things that is not so satisfying about preseason.  In control two-team scrimmages, the coaches can get the matchups on the field that they want.

Keenum still has work to do, calling plays and getting the team out of the huddle.  Allen does it flawlessly, Keenum's clearly still learning.
