I can't think of a current OC that calls plays from the sidelines however... there are still some HCs that call the offensive plays and they're obviously gonna be on the sidelines. Id guess he’ll try both places in the preseason to figure out what he likes more. I’m guessing his job is a little easier from the booth as you can see patterns from the opposing defense.
