A few thoughts: He seemed surprised he hasn't learned anything about what broke down. He said something like "I'm usually the Adam Schefter of the team, but nothing, I don't know anything" He was (understandably) critical of the defense during the 13 seconds in a few comments You can tell he and McDermott clash - I can't imagine he's coming back next year Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He came up big when he was needed, but was pushed aside for a receiver that had no yards after completion and whose body seems to have broken down. That’s nothing against Beasley, but if I was the other slot receiver who had the results that l’il dirty had, I would be pretty frustrated as well. The past 2 years at least, the Bills either didn’t tender him as an RFA or let him go find a deal as a UFA and he’s never found anything. I think Bill fans overvalue him a bit because he’s a fun personality. I think he’s a good depth guy and if he wants to come back again on a small deal that’s fine but I’m not handing decent money to him because he’s not consistent enough at the return game. I could see a guy like McDermott taking issue with that personality type and letting it get in the way of potential value to the team. I honestly don't know if he should have been playing more...I know people are going to point to the Patriots to say he definitely should have played more and the obvious answer is to get more playing time than Beasley, but I seriously don't know. I like McKenzie, but I would have to think that if he should've gotten more playing time, it definitely would've happened considering he has been here for what, 3 or 4 years? His cavalier attitude towards vaccination, the fines for breaking protocol, and telling everyone on twitter that he was already vaxxed and then tweeting the next week that he just got his first shot. His jokester attitude in a lot of clips comes off as maybe he's joking around too much instead of taking his work seriously. His bad attitude when he got benched and cried about it on twitter. I dont think he's a scumbag, or criminal, or a bad person. But I do feel he has work ethic issues, and some "football character" concerns. I wasnt one bit surprised to hear he ended up in McDermott's dog house at some point this season.
