Antonio Williams signs with Giants

He just may be the 1st of a few. To build a culture like we have, you need to have a few guys that have been there. I would expect a few more guys to go over the next few weeks. Maybe even one from each position group. Even if they are PSquad, backups or UFA, they been part of the culture and could be valuable to a team that needs this kind of change.

Shoen knows this guy should have been playing. This should be an eye opener.

Hard to believe AW couldn't get on the field for the Bills.

What's eye opening about this is the fact when he did play he was extremely effective,  noticeably more explosive than our other backs.  t.

Williams has better size and measurables than both Moss and Singletary, that's a fact.  He looked noticeably explosive in 2020 as a result. He got 7 carries this preseason so don't act like he got a chance and failed.

Fans wanted him to get a shot at a position of need.  He didn't get it.

Our assistant GMs very first signing on his very first day was to get him.

Yes, that's eye opening. It doesn't mean he's a star but it certainly means Shoen like him a lot much like the fans did and perhaps he didn't play because coach didn't like him... like McKenzie.

Wow!  the legend of Antoni Williams!!

To refresh the memories, this guy played in one single game in his Bills career (1 year ago): a Bills end of season pigpile on the  Dolphins where the Bills were emptying the bench (Matt Barkley looked explosive with 164 yards and TD!,  creeky old Smoke Brown with 72 yards and a TD--even McKenzie got in on the action, accruing 1/4 of his season total yards receiving).

This guy was a zero for the Bills.  A scrub showcased in a meaningless beatdown.

You stated position groups. While some are interchangeable others are not. We can get more granular with position groups if you like and break them down further into slot receiver, 3 technique dt etc but, I was being kind.

And the new GM knows full well he should have thats why he is not waisting time talking him off our hands.

I think that’s being a bit extreme. The giants have a bad roster and he’s signing a kid he knows for their 90-man. That’s about it. He will be the one cutting, re-signing, cutting, re-signing to his PS now.

In some ways it doesn't surprise me they kept him on the bench after giving some really good playing time in past games even though the run game in B/lo was not really good he still didn't get a chance & i for 1 think he would have been a better back than Moss but that's just me i guess .

So cudo's to him for going after it and looking elsewhere i just hope it doesn't come back to bite the Bills in the A** now day  !!

I guess we shall see. Im concerened with this staff ability to judge talent.

And Jiants fans will complain about Bills players signed preferring to stew in mediocracy just like Bills fans did when Carolina players were signed.

Honestly with what looks to be available on the FA backup QB market...if/when we lose Trubisky it wouldn't shock me.

He will not be "lost" since it was end of his contract he is a free agent.

I do hope he gets a highly paid one increasing chance of a comp pick rather than a one year prove it deal.

I'm a fool but you think NJ is part of NY. Notice how you keep saying NY metro area in place of Tri-state area which would prove my case.  Perhaps I'll start a poll to see if anyone else thinks they are separate states 🙄

Wasn't this already settled by the Supreme court in 1998?
