Say what you will about Belichick, but this is pretty awesome

He just didn't want to answer any other questions, so he took up all the time answering the least important question he received.

And he must be getting soft in his old age. Telling stories from the good old days of football to the young whippersnappers in the media.

If one is being serious (against my intentions here, actually,) the fascist aesthetic as a whole, its heavy-handed "monumental" giganticism, the sort of thing evident in Speer's architecture for instance is grandiose, oppressive, obvious, as well as jejune. The idolization of heroic, youthful masculinity, when scrutinized, indicates a truly immature state, a lack of developed capacity to recognize beauty in the ephemeral, the imperfect, that which endures time and its complexities. All that said, they nailed the uniforms.

You are preaching to the choir. (But at least it’s an ethos!)

Btw, re: the uniforms, you know that Hugo Boss was a designer of them, right? A real ad:

I don't see it that way. He never answers anything from the media that is relevant to his teams circumstances. A reporter gave him a chance to talk about something he enjoys that's isn't relevant to his team in the moment and he showed he's happy to talk, was even thankful for being asked such a question. I think he respected the question more than anything, which is why he elaborated so much.  I found it interesting.

I can say what I want? He is a proven cheater and every year without Tom he looks more like a great DC and a below average HC.

To be fair. I can't think of any coach in the modern era that has won multiple Super Bowls without a good QB.
