Opening day food at home

I'm surprised I haven't seen a thread yet for what kind of spread everyone is having for watching the game at home (apologies if I missed it, checked back a few pages).  I saw something for tailgating, for the weather, the broadcast schedule, etc, but not the everyman's home culinary lineup.

My friend and I don't have the time or ability to do anything fancy, so it's the basic fare of takeout pizza (double pepperoni party tray) and wings (honey garlic extra saucy, they don't like hot sauce), assorted snacks, and beer (Keith's for me, Bud for my friend).

I love (and hate because it makes me jealous and hungry) to hear about what you guys whip up for these big days.

With the difference in time-zones, this game will be played on my Monday morning, which means I won't be able to watch it until after work.

That said, my wife and I always get a pizza and make homemade Buffalo Wings and Bleu Cheese for the big game.

And a lot of beer!

Hawaiian style fried rice and plain old hot chicken wings with blue cheese.

Ooh pineapple fried rice is my favorite Asian takeout.  Not really "gameday with the boys" food for me, but maybe a future "friend is busy so I'm at home watching the game alone shoveling a huge tray of food into my gob" order...

Buffalo chicken logs! Looking forward to trying them

I'm afraid to ask what that is.

My wife always makes chicken wing dip. It's my absolute favorite and it's as addictive as crack. Can't wait

Something you dip the wings into, or the wing meat as part of the dip?

It's full of bacon, hard scrambled eggs, mushrooms, onions and cubed bits of spam.  Pineapples for some color and some sweetness.

A buddy from Hawaii I knew in the military taught me his mom's recipe.  Stuff will grow an arm back.

It's 11am here at game time.  It's a great brunch meal.  Wings at halftime.

I’m starting tonight with Sausage and cheese ravioli, with a lite drizzle of olive oil, a side salad, with Ciabatta bread, and a good bottle of red wine 🍷

Gonna go street food for the game Chicago style, being that is where I am for the next couple days, 👍

Go Bills!!!

Boil 1 large chicken breast(approx 20 mins) . Could use 2 smaller breasts if you want. Let cool, then shred chicken breast.

2 packages of cream cheese

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

4 Oz of hot sauce.

Mix all together, bake at 350 degrees for 25 mins.

Very simple and absolutely delicious

why have I never eaten Hawaiian fried rice? This is sheer brilliance.

I started making this Hawaiian dish pretty recently and it is ridiculous: loco  moco. Delectable beef patty on rice with lots of gravy and green onions and a fried egg on top.
