I supported the officer at the time, recognized that the inherent danger of acting as she did that day, and the likelihood of a tragic outcome when someone behaves as such. I don’t understand the secrecy and lack of transparency thereafter. We can quickly find the name of virtually every officer who has discharged his/her weapon and had a full scale investigation into Michael Brown’s demise after he assaulted an officer and presumably would have killed him given the chance. Yes, The problem is they define “terrorist” not by what actions the bad actors undertake which is completely appropriate, but by the opinions that drive their actions which founds the double standard.
