Reality is nobody is making threats to school boards.  If they were they'd be arrested by local law enforcement.  This is just an exercise of democracy and free speech that school boards and the DOJ want to shut down.  Parents are simply demanding accountability from school boards.  Employees of the public school system.  Parents are challenging their agenda and frankly these Marxists are just not used to being challenged when it comes to indoctrinating children.  They're a lot easier to push around and bully than adults as these sensitive weak-kneed school board members are discovering.  So the boards are crying "no fair".  So now Comrade Garland is threatening to send in the Gestapo in an attempt to impose their authoritarian rule.  Just remember the government is very good at committing acts of violence both internationally and domestically.

Parents across the country have suddenly woken up to the wokeness haunting their schools and poisoning the minds of their children.

 

Most parents don’t like that. They pay for the schools. The school board (in theory) works for them, and they, the parents, have been vocal in making their displeasure known.

 

A left-wing lobbying group called the National School Boards Association complained to the Biden Administration that “Public Schoolchildren, Public School Board Members, and Other Public School District Officials and Educators” were subjected to “Threats and Acts of Violence” by parents whose actions “could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.” Note the surreal accusation that schoolchildren were being harmed by “threats and acts of violence,” which, if you look at the actual instances adduced, turn out to be people arguing against the insinuation of radical, politically charged ideas into the the curriculum.

 

Garland’s response was to threaten to unleash the law enforcement apparatus of the state against parents by forging a “Partnership among federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement to address threats against school administrators, board members, teachers and staff.” What threats?

 

When I first wrote about this, I was unaware that Garland’s daughter Rebecca is married to Xan Tanner, the founder and president of Panorama, a multimillion-dollar company that sells CRT and related ESG materials to schools around the country. File that in the folder marked “optics” if not the one labeled “conflict of interest.”

 

Another thing I didn’t know when I first wrote about this story was that the pas-de-deux between the National School Boards Association and the attorney general was not fortuitous. On the contrary, as the always interesting “Neo” reports, it was more in the way of being a coordinated effort, what just a few years ago might have been denominated “collusion.” I’m not sure into which folder we ought to put that detail.

There is no shock in a revelation that a fact-checker in the media is contorting the very foundation of its mission statement — the facts. This adjunct in the journalism complex has been shown to be a narrative-manipulating device, one employed to aid and abet one party. For proof, just choose a news outlet, comb through its fact-check section, and note how frequently the entries are used on critics of the Democrats and how infrequently they actually fact-check Democrats.

 

One of the latest examples however requires full analysis – the recent news of parents of school children being deemed domestic terrorists. The Associated Press recently corrected the story that broke about there being an effort made to list parents in this fashion, and it is a disturbing effort. Their assessment is remarkable, in that the news syndicate did not reframe the story, or resort to the tried practice of delivering “context,” suggesting there are “nuanced details,” or otherwise suggesting details have been omitted. The AP declares the claim to be outright false.

 

This is done, despite the fact that The National School Boards Association sent out a letter specifically outlining their contentions, and its call to have President Biden step in and control their contentious meetings. Over the past year, we have seen numerous school board meetings turn contentious regarding the refusal to open schools, mandated mask-wearing for students, and/or the Critical Race Theory curriculum, and now they want the actions of parents of students to be deemed acts of domestic terrorism.

 

The AP goes to great lengths in attempting to deflect on this matter.

The odd part is that the gifted program in my son's school is almost 50% minority in a majority white school. It is almost as if when the home of a child pushes education the kids flourish regardless of race.
