Not according to the journos and cap tracking sites he isnt. You got it wrong he is making just over 15m a year

What "journos" you follow.  Schefter specifically said he is under through 2024:

2020: Year 1

2021: Year 2

2022: Year 3

2023: Year 4

2024: Year 5

Get Beane and Milano extended and I think they are good

15 a year was the max I’d pay him.  Good for Dion. Good for the consistency of our OL.  Hopefully he continues to improve

Yeah, but they don't know any more about the deal that either you or him.

I'll let people judge the probability of all of them being wrong and 1 person on a forum being right

He is right. Fairburn, Bove, and sportrac are all saying $15m.  But they also don't know the specifics.

15 million a year extension, added to his 1 million this year.  5 years, 61 million, 12.2 per year

Yeah, if it's a 4-year $60M extension, that's correct.  What I think they're doing is talking 2021-2024, not 2020-2024.

Money is right on

Yep. That’s a value. Not cheap not overpaying. It’s another example of why drafting good is so important.
This move gives me some hope that Milano might take an extension for 4 years and $45 mil.

This sounds right.  Not the top LT money, but not the top LT either.  The Bills are built around a concept of good to very good players at most positions, instead of a few top guys and lots of JAGs.  With the salary cap, this is the way to go.

All the talking heads know is that Dawkins is getting $60 million on a 4 year extension. They have no idea if that is $15 for the four or $12.2 for all five.

How do you have a 4 year average for a guy under contract for 5 years?  It's an average, not exact values.

It absolutely can't be 12.2 a year because he was under contract for this year. And no player has a 0 dollar contract.

I think it's reasonable to say he's with the team for 5 more years at $61M.
