Missed ya buddy, where you been?

Doing great brother. Thank you. Just been lurking and agitating some people here and there. You know, the usual for me. Just really looking forward to watching Sunday's game right now and enjoying the weather. I hope you and yours are well. If we can keep laughing, we will endure. Peace.

Or those new Trump voters, like me, who don't believe in giving up civil liberties out of fear.

200k people have died with COVID+ tests. +/- the 4k probable in NYC of course.

Did they all die of Covid? If a man has a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head, but had COVID+ is it a COVID death? + test for COVID = 18k/ put him on a ventilator for an hour 32k! Bonanza when other services are removed... Not that my hospital is 250 million in the hole and needs revenue. No one would do that, right?

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety my friend.

Have we flattened the curve yet?

I confess that I haven't seen the numbers on those that died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in combination with Covid.

If wearing a mask only affected that individual, you might be correct. People are free to do something stupid that hurts themselves. Not wearing a mask can kill others. That is in no way a civil liberty issue.

The difference is Trump knew and, as the person who swore an oath to protect the nation, did nothing to protect America except "downplay the risk" until the outbreak was well under way and we were unprepared for it. How did "downplaying the risk" of this work out?

And I don't vote for media.

So if he had come out and said that by September this virus would be twice as deadly as influenza would that have mattered to a nation that mostly can't be bothered with getting a flu shot?

This is insane TDS driven Monday morning quarterbacking. Anyone playing into it should be ashamed.

I find it fascinating that in a town that leaks like a rusty rowboat the Left wants everyone to believe that only Bob Woodward knew the real story around Covid 19 and he kept it quiet for SEVEN MONTHS so he could finish writing a book that’d make him a born again celeb in an election year. Yeah, right! 😂

Anybody think to ask Watergate Bob why he let 190,000 Americans die while sitting on these interview tapes? 😂😂😂😂

Yeah, there's no way the American people would panic and overbuy essentials like toilet paper, masks, hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, meat, canned goods, or dry goods without any consideration for their neighbors, forcing stores to implement purchase limits on many products.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah and blah.

You and the other morons in this country who hate Trump continue to ignore, FOR POLITICAL GAIN, the only TRUE fact.

CHINA is the one to blame and China is the one to attack for this virus.

When all is said and done and when this pandemic is controlled and no matter whom the President is....................

China needs to be attacked and attacked hard for trying to hide this virus They unleashed this thing KNOWINGLY to the world.

China declared chemical warfare on the world, not Trump.

This isn't a Trump thing. This isn't an Obama thing. This isn't a Bush thing. This isn't a Clinton thing. This isn't a Reagan thing. It's a CHINA thing. PERIOD.

But you braindead Trump hating morons can continue with your stupid "This is all Trump's fault" dumbass rhetoric and see where that gets you in November.

Anyone with a brain is tired of hearing blame being put on Americans for what CHINA did.

Unless Trump was the one that told China to unleash the Kung Flu on the world, simply shut the fvck up with blaming Trump (or whomever the sitting President is) on this.

I imagine this has been mentioned many times but I’ll bring it up again. I think the the high number of deaths in this country has very little if anything to do with Trump and EVERYTHING to do with our love of freedom, distrust of government and mostly an indication of the poor health in this country.

Go to the gym people!  Eat a salad!  What a bunch of fatties.

i agree that the federal government has very little to do with any of this, trump included.

our love of individual freedom is no doubt a huge driver in our amount of cases.  After a month of the lockdowns, I decided to live my life normally with my girlfriend.  We are young, we’re all a normal size (dare I say a good size), and healthy.  At that point, everyone was on notice of the dangers of this, and if you are scared of vunerable, then don’t go out.  There is no reason I should encounter you.  I wear masks in public indoor spaces, but I go to restaurants, stores, bars often (And I have started traveling again).  My state, Texas, allows me to do that. I am not willing to give up a year of my life for something that has virtually no chance of harming me.  Now, because life is funny, I got Covid in July.  It was fine, I isolated myself for three weeks, and it’s all good.  In Texas we had a ton of cases, but not many deaths.

desths are absolutely going to the old and the unhealthy.  And I’m sorry, but a lot of the unhealthy are self imposed.  The obese. I laugh every time CNN trots out a “healthy” 25 year old who got Covid and was severely ill or who died, to demonstrate anyone can die from this....and the person is 300 pounds.

It's the CHINA virus, dipshyt.

Actually it's the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).   I think that a more accurate nickname for it than yours might be "the Trump virus".

So ... the deaths of nearly 200,000 Americans in six months is simply "statistical diarrhea" to you?  I guess that explains why you support Trump.

At that point, everyone was on notice of the dangers of this, and if you are scared of vunerable, then don’t go out.

Me too and agreed.

The issue we have is one of stupidity (let's keep it all closed the sky is falling we're doomed) vs stupidity (there's nothing to worry about and this is a fake virus).

My personal take: Everything should be open, we should all take reasonable precautions, and especially strict precautions regarding at risk folks. The end.

But the extremes make reasonable discussion impossible.
