The Coronavirus Is Becoming A Public Relations Disaster For China.

Evidence came today in the form of two BBC reports, one of the U.K. government of Boris Johnson (who has COVID-19 now) saying there would be ramifications for China failing to share how they stopped the virus from spreading. One such punishment was getting rid of Huawei in their 5G program.

 

Over the weekend, the Daily Mail reported that the Johnson team doubted China’s SARS-CoV-2 infection count, which totals around 81,000, saying they were probably off by a factor of 40.

 

The wide spreading disease throughout Europe is turning people off to China in leadership positions who, only a few months ago, were fine with Beijing and thought the U.S. trade war with China was just Trump being Trump.

 

It’s almost as though he’d been right about China all along.

I think Barbra Streisand was believable in Yentl (which i feel like i saw at the old Colvin Theater but feel the math does not work) she was a laugh riot in Meet The Fokkers, I confuse her sometimes with Bette Midler and I think both/either/neither were good in A Star of Born, pre-Gaga.

 

Celine Dione is NOT one of the Canadians I was referencing, our/my Canadians didn't/don't have fake Frenchy accents, and are not overly-dramatic when they sing, though admittedly they didn't sing to the best of my knowledge.  I did think Celine looked good when Leo TheCaprio sketched her nekkid in the Poseidon Adventure.

I do not blindly trust anyone but I do know that the Chinese govt are the least reliable source of info on the planet.

Agree that there are many unscrupulous Chinese companies, and government officials, but we also have them. Our government officials also lie to us every day.

Consider watching Trump, the surgeon General, the medical specialist who tell you CDC set record times for approving drug trials and production or processes, BUT it has taken them a month and still cannot decide whether people should wear a mask....they are still considering...BS
