Just a suggestion, but would be great if you would update the first post in this thread to make it a running summary of signings/trades across the league.

And why would we want to own the headlines? Teams built through free agency don't last. You build through the draft, develop and sign your own, and then pick up depth and smart additions in free agency.

What kind of talent do we have that is close to be equal to David Johnson? I know he's been bad the last two seasons but still.

Yeah we all want to add an elite player but if we get a couple 2nd tier guys it would still help

Beane wants to fill holes in FA and draft bpa. Expect moves to be made soon, just don’t expect him to overpay. We also need to save $ to re-sign our young core. In McBeane we trust!

This is what we needed the previous two years... this isnt the time for that. We need superstars now round out the team. Our window to win is opening. We dont have nearly as many holes as we used to. We have a ton of cap space... this is year to bring us to the next level.

Ok let’s Say Bills offers 3 years 21M with 13 guaranteed. And Keemun went back to a coaching staff he is familiar with. Is that on Beane?

 

 

and No I would not have paid that contract to Keenum if I was the GM. Does nothing for me in terms of adding wins.

So, the NFL Network had Snoop Dog on the phone to ask his thoughts on how the Cowboys were handling the Dak contract negotiations. I like Snoop, even smoked at one of his concerts, but Snoop?! Really?! I changed the channel. I know it's slow out there, but Snoop?! He's not even a Cowboys fan.
