Moral of the story is you can’t win a super bowl with a mediocre QB like Garoppolo in today’s NFL. San Fran has a great defense and great running game. Looks like the plan was to rush four. There were occasions where the the SF d-line was was sloppy with their lane assignments and Mahomes took advantage of that. I'll agree that playing it like that was questionable, but he still guaranteed himself the last possession of the half when he was gettting the 2ndhalf kickoff and he also denied any opportunity for the ball to end up back in Mahomes hands' before halftime.
