We're going to be major regression candidates next season. Also, as fan expectations increase with regard to Allen and as their patience wanes, his play, while remaining about the same, will seem increasingly unacceptable. That will add to the perception that we are regressing. Enjoy this year NOW. You have to strike while the iron is hot, and many things have worked to our favor this year, not least of which is the health of the team. Prevent defense and going into a shell offensively are not recipes for victory over other "playoff caliber" teams. This is something that McD will have to realize and grow out of. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I think "Championship Caliber" is just McD raising the bar for the team.
