censure for what?

For being a moron that can't conduct foreign policy without even avoiding the vague appearance of a conflict of interest.

As consistent as I've been in insisting this "evidence" is ambiguous and nothing more than hearsay and interpretation through a priori assumptions, the other side of that is that Trump was too damn stupid to avoid creating the ambiguity in the first place.  And don't forget the other of the two reasons I wanted Trump as president: to encourage Congress to do its job and exercise proper oversight.  So censure him for being a reckless little man-child, and exercise the goddamn oversight already.

Bipartisan censure on the above basis would be oodles more exciting and better for the country than impeachment.

And you probably could get a decent number of Republicans on board with it, I'll bet.

If we are still allowed by the Trump Dynasty to write history in the future perhaps these pieces of evidence will shed light on more criminal

The House Intelligence Committee now has access to several video and audio recordings as well as photographs that include President Trump and his attorney Rudy Giuliani.

Hell, they have biden on video bragging about how he extorted Ukraine and the looney left doesn't give 2 Schiff's about it.

You are probably correct. It would save face for Reps, as well as Dems in purple districts.

I wouldn't give the corrupt left one inch at all. The President of the United states should never be censured. That's f'n ridiculous to even suggest. How about censuring you? Would you be for that? Whether I agree with your views or not, I would fight against that with everything I have.

Give the socialist pigs exactly what they deserve, absolutely nothing!

The "cult" - on both sides - is maybe 20% of the nation, each.  You'll never get evangelical Christians or vegan trans college students to support censure...so what?  Pandering to the Rick Perrys and AOCs of the country is what's caused this mess to begin with.

#OrangeManBad, he talks funny, he's uncouth according to the "smart set", he's a big ole meanie that hurt our feelings

Trump will laugh at censure. It means bupkis in today's political environment.  I wonder if it will appease the rapid Democratic base?

Trump would not be Trump if he accepted a censure and admitted he did something wrong. How many times should Obama have been censured or even impeached for wrongdoing? Trump should not give an inch based on the actual evidence brought out in the sham investigation. This is all being done to affect the 2020 election. The democrats and MSM are doing their best to damage Trump and he shouldn't go along with their attempts to do so. We elected a fighter and expect nothing less.

What current Republican in the House or Senate would support censure?

Winner winner vegan chik'n dinner.

Wherever the middle is, it's missed. Being a politician used to be the job of working with the people you disagree with to try to pull the community (local, state, country) forward. Now it's just about grandstanding for re-Tweets. Who doesn't love a "sick burn" Tweet? Look no further than the sub-culture of re-Tweets on TBD and PPP.

No one would have re-Tweeted about the compromise to get the 1964 Civil Rights Act passed. The left and right would meme and villify the compromise and we'd be stuck in neutral like we've been for most of 11 years now.

Censure would be almost dumber than impeachment. Almost, but not quite.

Why don't you reply to your own posts to confirm that you're the king of the loonies now?

So, I presume you believe that Burisma was/is not guilty of breaking any laws?

I thought it was the right wing being scared to death of the browning of Americas demographics that caused this mess.

it is all currently fruit of the poisoned tree. meaning, none of it is admissible. nothing to censure him with.

Unfortunately this is what happens when almost 50% of the electorate doesn't vote.

There is exactly zero merit to the low IQ, the disinterested, and the ignorant voting.

None.

Most people cannot name the Vice President, a single member of SCOTUS, or their own Congress person or Senators.  It’s even worse at the local and state levels of government.

There's also a sizable portion of the electorate that understands that democracy is a sham designed to keep an elite class elevated, and the underclass ruled over, and is not designed to solve problems. This recognition allows them to understand that government is illegitimate, and they pay their taxes simply so they aren’t throw in cages by the grifters and their henchmen.
