Eddie Lacy with the Bills?

Recommended Posts

I think maybe they went out and picked up a couple of cheeseburgers *with* Eddie...

Even if he were, it would 100% be a camp body only. No way he’s beating out McCoy, Gore, Yeldon and Singletary, all of which he would be solidly behind in the depth chart.

I think I'd rather have Cagney and Lacy.

Oh, I agree completely. I would be amazed if we added him at all to be honest. He does not seem to fit the mold of players we have been adding.

Did you just randomly stumble upon Bready Lazy’s wiki page or did you hear this somewhere?

lol. I saw that.  My son said he saw it on the Bills twitter page...

(correction: He said it was on Bills Instagram page last night.  I am not seeing it anywhere else, except for Lacy's wiki that lists us as his current team)

Will we have the roster space to carry both?

They could supply their own shoulder pads from the 80's wardrobe. #RalphIsCheap

If they could actually pick Eddie Lacy up, they are a lot stronger than even I thought they are.

and for the record, if he's in shape, I'm fine with taking a look.  He's a talented runner who racked up a lot of mileage in college and early in his career.  He got hurt, then he got heavy and he was out of the league.  If some time away from the game has allowed his body to heal up and having no job has motivated him to put the fork down I don't see a downside.  He'll be dirt cheap with no risk attached.

Still don’t see anything yet. I’m wondering if he worked out for the bills and someone mistook that as we signed him?

Joking aside, i like the move too.  He's a punishing runner who can move a pile.  And not just a pile of chicken wings either.

this is possible given the way Beane streams players through in workouts and churns the bottom of the roster.

Absolutely . McCoy and Gore are also likely to get a bunch of vet days , nothing more than a camp body imo.
