Players you like

Recommended Posts

I know a million of these have been done but just throw out some guys you like that you think will be good players or have great value:

Harry, wr, AsU - just been on the guy for 2 years.  He had a crap qb and just simply made plays.

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/n'keal-harry?id=32194841-5265-4593-d716-d972ec2d4468

Butler, wr, Iowa State- didn’t have great qb play but is a monster.  Plus, he likes Karen more than Pam on the Office and that’s a huge plus.

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/hakeem-butler?id=32194255-5416-1833-e211-34b9abca1909

jalen Hurd, WR/ RB, Baylor - was 1,000 yard rusher at 6’4” at Tennessee. Transferred to Baylor and became a 900 yard receiver.  Not sure what his best position is but he can be a playmaker somewhere.

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jalen-hurd?id=32194855-5208-0933-a42b-f137c6bf565f

Taylor Rapp, S, Wash - flat out ball hawk.  We are good at S but this guy is a really good player.

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/taylor-rapp?id=32195241-5050-5098-ef4c-235f382d663d

Jaylon Ferguson, DE, La Tech -  great career with a ton of production.  Not the best athlete but some guys just make plays.  https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jaylon-ferguson?id=32194645-5216-8492-efe9-dfa1a1176b99

Good list. My favorite player on it is Harry. My interest is more recent, but I’ll be disappointed if he doesn’t end up in a Bills uni, perhaps more than any other player in this draft. A perfect fit imo , and just what Allen needs.

I can’t state how much his qb sucked.  I think he or Butler are the perfect compliments to our receivers.  I heard someone say your receiving core should be like a basketball team.  We need a C/ PF.

I very badly want us to draft N'Keal Harry (or DK).

Other guys I like and would be stoked to draft (left off the obvious early targets)
WR - David Sills V

WR - Deebo Samuel

EDGE - Oshane Ximines

TE - Josh Oliver

RB - Miles Sanders

RB - Devin Singletary

Agreed. They seem to have addressed the other spots. I hope we get Harry, but I think it will take some moving around by Beane to land him. Loved his production even in a less than perfect circumstance. I’ll definitely look more into Butler , as I’m not that familiar. This will go a long way toward seeing if Allen has what it takes or not.

Kid just puts the work in and if there's a TE in this draft who comes out of no where I think its him. Needs to work on his blocking so he won't explode next year but I think he can be a good blocker too.

Yeah I really like him too and he's the guy I want if we dont go TE early, and I do not expect us to go TE early.  So I am looking at Oliver in 3rd or 4th round.

Yea, I'd like him too, he's probably a TE2 to start out with but can definitely contribute in the passing game.

Literally never heard of him so I appreciate it.  Can he be a number 1 IYO?

I think Croom goes bye bye then.

I think Croom has a good lock on a roster spot.  ?

IMO he has the potential to be another Jimmy Graham type TE.  Teams are onto him though and he’s going to go earlier than I had hoped

I believe so.  He just needs to work on his blocking, which is no sure thing but he's got a crazy work ethic and he's a good kid. He used to play on the defensive side of the ball but switched and put in all the work and became a good TE and was targeted a bunch. They were rolling coverage his way a lot and he'd still make catches. If there is someone like Kelce is this draft, I think it's him.

Agreed. Think he goes mid to late 3rd or early 4th.

Yeah I think as soon as round 3 hits he will be in play and it will heat up by mid 3rd.  Had thought we could nab him with one of our 4ths, but now I’m skeptical we can.  So hoping we get him at 74 or maybe do a trade up from our 4th to get back into the 3rd if they say grab a RB or another position at 74.

Butler and Hurd are nice.  Strange that the draft grades on them are all over the place but they look to be both ahtletically and physically what the Bills WR corp lacks.  Oh, and that comment about the basketball team makes sense.  I hadn't heard that before but it seems totally compatible with Beane's public comments about what types of WRs he wants on his roster.

David Montgomery.  Credited with over 100 broken tackles last year and only 3 fumbles in almost 700 career touches.  I liked James Conner two years ago and Robb Riddick is an all time favorite of mine.  I want guys that grind out tough yards and help sustain offense with all around play.  I do not favor dancers that look for daylight that never comes.

Kahale Warring is an improving, athletic TE prospect that has an interesting back story and fits in the 3rd round.  The Draft Network's Ledyard wrote:

"Warring has the quickness and speed of a big wide receiver, but the length of a tight end and the biceps of a greek god. His routes and releases are already surprisingly polished, and while he can improve a bit as a blocker and continue to sharpen his ball skills, the work ethic and football character attributed to him at San Diego State bodes well for him reaching his high ceiling. Time this man gets the love he deserves as a top 100 prospect"

Any player with a local connection.  The BN had a story on them recently.  The UB guys and those that played their high scholl ball here are interesting to me.  I will follow all of them as they take their best shot at having an NFL career.

Punter Mich Wishnowsky of Utah.  Others mentioned him so I looked at his draft profile.  Very atheltic, former Aussie Rules player, 3X Ray Guy finalist and apparently has some good directional kicking skills.  I'd like the Bills to have a reliable punter that can handle the job without putting the team in bad situations with mishit or poorly placed punts.  His athleticism may flash the way Moorman's did.  Mitch Wishnowsky  I'd bet he'd be a fun guy to have on the roster too.

Oh, no! Did they step on your lawn?   ?

There will be a good player at #9, and by the second round they may just pick a guy I’ve never heard of. It could happen.....

I want us to trade back, draft Simmons with 1st, add Knox with additional second rounder.  So right there our two biggest holes are fixed, and we have 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6,7  left to parlay into a starter or two or three
