MAJBobby 5,205 Posted March 28 (edited) Beat me on this one. Here is his Draft Profile. Strengths Good acceleration. Flashes the ability to bounce outside and has long speed to pick up big gainers when he breaks free. Functional short receiver. Willing blocker and special-teams player with speed to contribute in the pros -- has experience covering and returning kicks. Helped himself at his pro day -- posted sub-4.4 40, 37-inch vertical jump and 6.89-second three-cone drill. Competitive, tough and hardworking. Weaknesses Lacks ideal bulk for the position. Average eyes and instincts. Lacks elusiveness to string moves together. Limited run strength -- not a powerful pile mover or robust tackle breaker. Average career production (shared carries). Needs to improve technique in pass protection. Could require extra reps to grasp complex concepts. Draft Projection Priority free agent Bottom Line Fast, linear, one-cut perimeter slasher best-suited for a zone scheme. Never established himself as a feature back, though his speed and special-teams ability will give him a chance to compete for a roster spot. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/senorise-perry?id=2549938 Edited March 28 by MAJBobby

Trust The Process 13 Posted March 28 Perry, 27, spent the past two seasons with the Miami Dolphins chiefly as a special teams performer. After finishing third on the Dolphins in special teams tackles in 2017, Perry led the team in special teams tackles last season and had a fumble recovery.
BuffAlone 897 Posted March 28 Didn't see the signing of Gore coming. CERTAINLY didn't see this signing coming! Probably because I never even heard of him. He's 27, so we got younger at the position lol

MAJBobby 5,205 Posted March 28 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thephinsider.com/platform/amp/2018/7/10/17552448/90-in-90-miami-dolphins-roster-breakdown-senorise-perry 2017 Review After spending the 2016 season on Miami’s practice squad, Perry played in all 16 games for the Dolphins in 2017. While he only recorded eight carries for 30 yards and one reception for three yards, Perry did solid work on special teams. He returned team kicks for a 20.2 yards per return average. He was also second on the team in special teams tackles, recording nine. Why he will progress Perry’s development and role with the team will likely be primarily as a special teams member. He works well in kick coverage and as a return option as well. With Michael Thomas now playing for the New York Giants, Perry could see his role expand on special teams. Why he might regress Perry’s biggest issue this season is the addition of free agent running back Frank Gore and the drafting of running back Kalen Ballage. Suddenly sitting around fourth on the depth chart, and probably will not see as many touches this year as he had been hoping after Jay Ajayi’s trade last year and Damien Williams joining the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency this season. Without those touches, it will be hard to say Perry is progressing as a running back. Chances of making the 53-man roster Perry could be on the roster bubble this summer, a position it did not seem he would be just a couple of months ago. His special teams play could be the deciding factor in keeping Perry on the roster, while Buddy Howell and Brandon Radcliffe have to prove themselves still. Shaw66 4,047 Posted March 28 Funny that when Perry looks at the depth chart, he sees that Frank Gore is STILL ahead of him. It says something, by the way, that Perry has come to Buffalo. It probably means the Bills learned some things about him from Gore, and it means that Perry likes having Gore as a teammate. 2

MJS 3,521 Posted March 28 (edited) Good special teams help, but if we draft a RB for the future there is no way we could keep that many running backs, right? How many do teams usually keep on the 53 man roster? Edited March 28 by MJS
