Allen has had exactly 1x 500+ yd season to his career and this is a payer sought after.... meh. billsfan89 Posted March 7, 2019 Share Posted March 7, 2019 Unless they got this guy on a vet minimum I would pass on Allen, he isn't really that good nor at his best was he ever anything more than decent. He is old and not productive. I would pass and take on a better free agent TE or go for a mid-level free agent TE and draft a TE in the early rounds. If a tight end sucks and can't catch, it's assumed he is a good blocker and that is typically wrong. This does not just happen with Clay, it happens everywhere.
