RocCityRoller
Ok, so no one loves fantasy only posts. Hence the title. Non fantasy players can move along. Fantasy football is a fun way to be a know it all GM. Way back I argued ridiculous trades for Andrew Luck in my very first posts on TBD (LAMP), to cut all of our old WRs (post was deleted cuz I was 'mean'), to draft Kyle Van Der Esch and do what it took to get Khalil Mack. My fantasy buddies laughed at me for for trading P Lindsay, M Breida and D Funchess for K Hunt and Amari Cooper in week 5. None of those things worked out..... I am in the championship game in my league and had the top scoring team (178 ppg) this season. Std scoring, 2 flex, IDP and only a 10 team league. 10 team leagues mean everyone is loaded, all the time. I prefer 10-12 team leagues for this reason. My first round pick was Bell (0 points). I lost AJ Green, E Sanders, Conner and Hunt in the last 4 weeks, and still managed to go 10-4, and be the top scoring team. As I lost players I added depth and Bills for ***** and giggles. I now have Josh Allen, Zay Jones and Robert Foster. My QB1 is Rivers and QB2 is Wilson. Josh Allen has outscored both since I picked him up 4 weeks ago. A Little Background: I was down 7 points to the #2 scoring team on Monday night. I had McCaffrey and Samuel, my opponent had Newton and a 7 point lead. The Christian McCaffrey 50Yd TD pass advanced me to the Championship Game. I am playing with house money now. I think it's time to start Josh Allen vs the Pats and break the curse. I have been in 5 fantasy championship games. I am 1-4. I have lost 3 championship games with Rivers at QB and one with Wilson as QB. My bench QB scores could have won any of those games. The rest of my team is solid. Should I start Josh Allen? Let's break the curse!!! Edited December 18, 2018 by RocCityRoller
ProcessYaDigg
Hands down your should. The Bills aren't fighting for a playoff spot. They're playing to see what they have for the future as well as ruin teams that are fighting for a playoff spot. So, Josh Allen will be able to let loose, as he's done the past 4 weeks. I think he'll put up big numbers, especially if he uses his legs. He's been earning more points as a runner, not so much as a passer. and if he keeps building his chemistry with Foster, he should get you decent points through the air as well as the ground. Big Blitz
Wilson at home vs that God awful pass D. Set it and forget my man. You cant play Allen at New England with them coming off a loss. Dont over think it. Wilson.

I faced the D Henry explosion and won because I trusted A Cooper a week before. My gut went with picking up Ebron, Conner etc. And I made the trade above for Cooper. Rivers is a terrible play. Wilson is the #2 play this week from the experts. I have the Rams D vs Arizona. In a way I want to put in Allen to prove a point, and break this curse. The Bills don't have to win, Josh Allen needs to get me 20 points. My WR3 is a mess, maybe that is the 'Allen' play with Foster. I should enjoy my improbable win tonight. But I want Allen to bring it home. Edited December 18, 2018 by RocCityRoller
Big Blitz
Congrats man. I lost last week by .1 points. Yup. 0.1. On Cousins garbage TD Monday night. I felt like I did after the Music City Miracle. Worse, I would have won this week. Such is fantasy. Edited December 18, 2018 by Big Blitz

There’s the smallest of chances that he dominates and takes the torch from Tommy boy while winning you some cash. You’d love him even more. I lost in the semis because I didn’t start him over Drew breees

Dave in Avon Lake now
I’ve had Josh Allen the past 4 weeks and he is a consistent fantasy option. NE hasn’t played him yet so he’s. probably is a good option.

Doc Brown
Don't overthink it. Wilson at home in prime time late in the year historically puts up big stats. Especially if they're engaged in a shootout which is likely playing the Chiefs.
Mickey
I have been riding Andrew Luck all season, finished 2nd in the regular season and lost my playoff game last week but would have won if I started Allen. I almost pulled the trigger because I had Dallas on defense and didn't like the idea of starting a defense against my QB but instead I started New Orleans. Drat. Bing Bong
You're in the finals drafting Bell??! Much respect Matt Ryan's had a great fantasy year if available. I'd go on matchup and look for shootouts. If QBs get nerfed passing stats I'd give JA serious consideration rushing TDs and yards from QBs are huge in that scoring format. Otherwise i'd find a streamer on waivers. Signed - A terrible fantasy football player. I hate that damn game. #notagameofskill All about fantasy basketball #GameofSlightSkill 3 hours ago, Mickey said: I have been riding Andrew Luck all season, finished 2nd in the regular season and lost my playoff game last week but would have won if I started Allen. I only kept him early on because I had Garroppolo so it didn't seem to matter. When he went down I picked up Dalton who carried me until Luck caught on fire. I think no team should be allowed to have Mahomes, his fpts are insane.

tbarg12
I would start Allen. I went 12-1 in my league but ended up losing the semifinals because of injuries to James Conner and Odell. Definitely getting Allen as my starter for next season.

CincyBillsFan
Couching my recommendation with the fact that I have been the worst FF player since the end of the Bills Super Bowl run (I drafted the whole Bill's team & started them every week) I would start Wilson over Allen. I just think Allen is going to struggle big time against the Pats. NE desperately needs this game; it's at NE and when was the last time they lost 3 in a row in December? I suspect Belichick will take a personal hand in designing the defense to contain Allen and the end result will be a couple of INT's and maybe one TD. I hope I'm wrong.
