...I know and respect you're having some fun bud......but there are others who STILL believe NOW that we effed this up....for some TBD'ers, seven games is the definition of a "career"....higher math..........

Some guys even know before a guy ever steps on an NFL field. It's really impressive until it's not.

...this IS the fertile mecca for budding GM candidates.......yet no hires  which is baffling.......

Still too early to say. Peyton Manning thrown alot of INT in his rookie season.

There was never any doubt Manning would be good at any point in his career including college

with Darnold there is some doubt, so this is not a valid comparison

....sorry but they ALL have a long way to go before any comparative analysis or declaration.....despite those TBD'ers and their crystal bawls who said we "definitely took the WRONG Josh"......during Kaep's rise through the ranks, an NFL exec was quoted as saying" 50 games in is a fair window of assessment"....sounds like we are a "tad early"??........

I will say that Kaepernick’s last “awful” season say him throw 16 tds and 4 ints.  These qbs aren’t close to those “awful” numbers.

Allen over Darnold.

Allen deserves more time developing his accuracy. He’s got it, stats do show his inaccuracies, but I’m letting that slide due to him being a rookie.  I think this kid can work on it over the season.

I also want to point out, he loves to inspire his teammates. Something I haven’t seen from a Bills QB in quite some time.

I'm not a superstitious guy, but I wholeheartedly believe USC QBs are doomed to fail the second they're drafted. This one's easy for me.

I do like Darnold, but think he has a bad support system.

For some prospective,  its interesting to take a stroll over to THE GANG GREEN and read what they think. Majority still think Sammy D is the next Namath, while Allen is poo. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle with both as both fan bases are high on their guy and dont want to be wrong or the suckers taking the bust.

Bottom line is most fans view will change x amount more times over the course of the season and then get sky high expectations going into camp mext year. I totally get it - but it still doesnt change the fact its a bunch of people talking like they know the facts when not a single person knows the truth or can see the future.

Its fun to talk, but also kinda silly to speak in absolutes IMO

I never wanted Darnold. He was bad under pressure at USC against bad Pac12 defenses. He will probably be a capable QB but I dont think he will be a star. He doesn't have the arm of Stafford nor the accuracy of Wilson or Brady. Maybe he is a Rivers type but probably more like Dalton.

Ryan Tannehill with more turnovers. You know who looks like Dalton right now is Josh Rosen.

I do not watch college ball anymore. so my perspective coming in is just filtering what i read.

But Josh Allen .

By appearance and over the season one has to develop a perspective.
I felt it before the injury, but Sunday? He nailed it to the Goal post

You just know.

this is the right guy to get up and cheer wildly for. This is what we needed all these years.
He is hell bent on winning by leading. and that is the purest definition of why i/we should  follow this guy over the cliffs of Gibraltar. Kid just inspires the Team. easy to see.
now lets get him some players to work with !

 Go Bills !

I mean I enjoyed our victory over the 3-7 Jags but are posters really asking if they would trade Allen for Rodgers???? I didn’t drink enough in celebration apparently.

Is it really that easy of a decision to trade a potential franchise QB (think 15+ years of QB stability) for four years of Rodgers?

Josh Allen has a 63 QB rating and has never completed higher than 56% of his passes.  Yes, I would trade him for Rodgers.  Every non Bills fans would.

It’s an interesting question. If Allen turns out to be Big Ben, there’s no way I trade 15 years of that for a few years of A rod. And cheaper salary for at least the next 4 years.

Now of course the big question is can Allen be Big Ben/Newton good.
