boyst
Where do you get your photos developed? For the first time in my life I am going to get photos developed all by myself! I've heard of apps and all sorts of things. I remember as a kid seeing little photo development centers that were basically the size of a toll booth all over and any store possible having development centers and portrait studios. Just made me wonder what families do now-a-days to save memories?
Johnny Hammersticks
CVS. You can bring in just about anything (e.g., thumb drive, phone cord, camera memory chip, etc...), plug them into the machine, and have nice pictures made. Pretty cheap too. Seasons1992
Define "develop." I used www.thedarkroom.com for my Badlands/Glacier/Montana/Yellowstone B/W film pictures this past August. Amazing service, digital scans before I got the rolls/prints back.

The little tubs at the end are full of baby Asian carp. It’s a full service facility.

Don’t take his word on that carp crap! We just have photo paper at the house and print on that. Pretty good, I must admit.

Probably photo place in nearby city or private dark room. I could probably find a place in Chicago or definitely NYC. Search internet, sent out rolls is what I think people do... For top results. Honestly... Digital prints is all but taken it over. Kodachrome was eliminated in 2010. Fuji, Velvia expensive, still get it. People send out.

You can even get books and calendars printed. Check out Shutterfly. There are deals to be had if you go there. I never use them unless I get a deal. You can send pics to Walmart or take them on a memory stick and get them rather quickly depending on the time of day. There is no need for dark rooms with modern camera's or phones. It is funny you should ask this, as just last night my wife's sister asked her what she should do with her old 35mm cameras. I don't have a good answer. LeviF
Walgreens is great. Upload right to their website and pick what size you want. It's like 35 cents a print.

I am not sure B&H photo does. I had this whole thing written up to ask why you were not just doing it at home, and then got to the end and figured you may not have a great color printer for photos. If you plan on printing a lot of photos, you may want to consider that option.
Gray Beard
I live about a half mile from a Walgreens. They have an app/username portal that is easy. I upload my pictures and they are ready for pickup in less than an hour. My wife takes her photography a little more seriously. She uses a company called Adorama. She says the colors are more accurate, but it takes longer (photos are mailed) and costs more. I have also had good luck with Walmart. I had some pictures made into coasters and they turned out great. I also made a poster, something like 20 by 30 inches, and that also turned out great. teef
as most have mentioned, walmart, walgreens, cvs etc all have easy and fairly inexpensive ways to do it. my wife has been using an app. to be honest, i think she had many done for free, and paid a very small fee to have more printed. we didn't do it for anything specific other than wanting some paper copies of the millions of pictures we have on our phone. the quality was so so. i'm not sure if you could pay an up charge and get better quality, but i know the ease of use is there. pick the pictures on your phone through the app, send them in and in a week or so the prints are at your house. we've framed some and from a distance they look fine.
