I think Phillip Gaines was the worst player on the field. But really there were a lot of candidates for the top ranking

I think it all depends on what you expect from the different players. From Gaines, and Vlad, you don't expect much from them because you already know they aren't great Players. from someone like Benjamin, you expect him to play like a a #1, or atleast a good #2 who will help the QB out and make some plays.

KB had a bad game but he got open on a deep cross and Peterman air mailed the ball 5 feet over his outstretched hand.

The game was over at the half. The players knew it.  They all gave up.  This is what happens in the NFL.  These guys save their bodies for the next game.

Zay failed to get open the entire game. What about Clay? Did he even get a single target?

KB will be better next week

That was an incredibly bad pass by Nate. Benjamin was wide open and he missed him by about six yards. But KB was also called for interference on that play. It would have come back if it was a completion. But that was Nate's worst pass of the day.

He has been a bust for the Bills, they should have left him alone and let Miami re-sign him.

Guys don’t PANIC. It’s 1 game. Y’all are giving up on the whole season already. Talking about next years draft picks. The bills have talent on both sides of the ball. The O line needs to pull it together I mean 5 sacks and way to many knock downs come on. Nate was rattled from the git go. The coaches and players see something in him so give him a chance. We suffered Losman for way more starts than Nate has had so we’ve had as bad before. Kel B played bad no doubt but he has the goods. His talents ain’t the question it’s weather or not he wants to be here. He needs to bring it or they need to move him on down the line. If we go 0-8 I’ll say it’s done this year start planning for next season but there’s a lot of ball to play yet. That’s how I see it.

Benjamin is a naturally big, slow, lumbering guy.

But today he looked like he smoked up a bit too much before the game.  He was just floating around.

The thing that is discouraging is that McBeane were familiar with this guy in Carolina, and they still went out of their way to bring him to Buffalo.  Seems like the kind of guy they are trying to avoid.

Post game Bills Beat podcast.  Joe and Matt really hammer this team for a dreadful performance.

IMO the best part is around 21:00 when Fairburn says that Benjamin was the worst player on the field.  He mentions the huge deals the WR’s got in the off-season and how Benjamin looked unmotivated today.  He had 1 catch on 7 targets which is not good.  He said if Benjamin is the #1 WR, then the Bills don’t have a #1 WR.

Been listening to that podcast for a while now.

Thanks for posting.

The Bills shouldn't be taking anyone with the #1 pick. They need to trade down if possible to get as many picks as they can get.

Couldn't agree more, you made your sexy pick last draft with QB and LB they need to build the trenches as the only priority.

Benjamin was bad but the worst Bills player was wearing number 2. It also is not a complex decision at Quarterback.  There is nothing and I mean nothing complicated about it. You cannot put Peterman out there again without losing a lot of respect. From the fanbase, from the locker room and in all probability from the owners too. They didn't want to go to Josh this early, but that doesn't make this a complicated decision - just a regrettable one.

If we don't use our first 2 picks on an OT and C, you can forget about 2019 also. WR's and CB's are much easier to find in FA than OL.

And get rid of Juan Castillo.  Don't forget that part.

Those were dreadful Sunday.

LOL Ducasse doesn't count.  He's always pitiful.  The other two just have had moments where they fooled people into thinking they could be something. Ducasse has never looked anything but pitiful
