That was especially good to see because he stupidly tried to get a pick 6 a few weeks earlier in KC. I'm sure McDermott was in his ear about it and he took it to heart.

I remember before the season started McD said something to the affect of you just say something to him once and he doesn’t make the same mistake twice. Now I’m sure that’s not 100% true but it’s very believable he said stay down because he remembered the previous week.

I had the same thought when he was telling Poyer to stay down after his INT at the end of the Miami game.

Saw the interview today....great segment....really like this kid...he's gonna be one of the top CB consistantly i can see that.....love the fact that he asked Sicilano to put him on GMF to debate with Nate on his top 10 list!

To play like he did as a ROOKIE CB was amazing. That was with one of the worse pass rushes in the league. Can't wait to see him with the improved front 7. Def a special player, can see him being a a top 3-5 cb for a long time..

I love Tre White.  My favorite moment of last season was when he told Jordan Poyer to "Stay down" after his game clinching interception in Miami.  The BILLS have had far too many stupid football players over the years.  Tre White isn't one of them and that's a big step in the right direction..

Absolutely!! When you have the rookie telling the guy drafted in 2013 what to do in that situation it says a lot about coaching. I still get anxiety pain when I think about Leodis McKelvin took the ball out of the endzone and fumbled to setup the game winning FG for the Patriots.

Have to say McD seems to be changing all that and coaching situational football

Can you be more specific about which time you're referring to?

White is awesome. I hope he takes a step forward instead of a step back in his second year. That would be really impressive. You know offensive coordinators are plotting how to beat him and they have a year of film on him now.

Watching the snow game my kids jumped up and started dancing when they saw Tre doing  it. Love him!

Look at the footwork!

Great kid, and hope he doesn't suffer from a sophomore slump.

I know there were a lot of McKelvin fumbles

The one I was referring to is at 3:35 on the highlights vid below and the Patriots got a TD to win and not a FG like I had said.

Just in time to improve the pass rush to help him out

I've got a Tre jersey, first jersey I've ever purchased. Now a Harrison Phillips jersey is looking pretty tempting as well ...

Just how old are you if I may?

never a Bruce,Kelly, Thurman, Freddie, OJ, Reed?

Harrison Phillips is looking tempting but no meatball??

Tre is a stud and hopefully you get 10+ years out of it

I doubt the pass rush will improve drastically this year. I think it will improve some, and I think the run defense will be a lot better.

50s, but I only moved to upstate in 1997 and became a Bills fan a few years later. Lean years, I admit, but a lot of fun...
