The good news is if the Giants want Darnold then too bad because Cleveland is taking him at 1 so they might be more inclined to trade out if the player they want is gone. The bad news is they will not trade until it's confirmed that Darnold is off the board on draft night so we are going to be freaking out wondering what is going on all the way until April 26 with the Giants on the clock. I agree I honestly believe they have a deal in place that is contingent on who the Browns pick, and if the Browns announce their selection beforehand, we could see a pre-draft trade. I guess it depends on who the #4 QB is, and where he is ranked on the Bills board. For the Bills, the "4th best" could be the guy they have at #1. Le'Veon Bell was a 2nd round pick, Kareem Hunt was a 3rd round pick, and Alvin Kamara was also a 3rd round pick. The only way he falls is if Giants pass on him and not sure they would as taking a QB with Eli starting makes little sense if looking to improve in 2018. He was so impatient last year when they asked him every single week if the Pats were going to trade Jimmy G to the Browns. He’s like “Guys, for the last time, they are.not.trading.jimmy.garoppolo. Underline. Highlight it. Not happening.” he was as shocked as anyone else that they did but admitted that was why there was some issue going on with the Pats because even his source was incredulous that it happened and it was out of the blue.
