Next week's NFL Scouting Combine promises to deliver a whirlwind of chatter, gossip and juicy rumors.

The machine is already churning in Denver, where the future of quarterback Trevor Siemian is entirely up in the air.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that Siemian is expected to be available through a trade as the Broncos plan to aggressively overhaul their quarterback room, per a source informed of the situation.

Rapoport was told that next season's roster could include 2016 first-rounder Paxton Lynch and two new signal-callers.

Denver is expected to make a powerful push for free-agent mega-prize Kirk Cousins. If the former Redskins quarterback can't be lured west, additional open-market possibilities include Case Keenum, AJ McCarron, Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Bradford. (So basically every available QB no in Denver already)

I have thrown out Siemian as an inexpensive number 2 if they got a day 1 starter type. If the Bills got Rosen it Mayfield I’d be okay with TS as the #2. He isn’t very good but is smart, cheap and can play for a few weeks if needed.

This would be the only way i could accept us signing Siemian. Without those 1st round QBs it doesnt make much sense. As limited as a passer as he is, Tyrod > TS

I think he will get interest as a backup. Young guys who have worked hard (7th round pick) and shown some things as starters can make valuable backups. I wouldn't mind trading a 6th or 7th for him just because I don't see getting a better #2 option in those last rounds. Obviously, that would have to be a pick for next year if we honestly wanted him.

I'd rather bring Fitz back in that scenario.  Don't know how big a contract he would command.

That would be fine too. That’s the kind of guy I want if we have a day 1 starter (Mayfield or Rosen). Give me a smart guy that can play for a few weeks and costs peanuts.
