Get a real QB I get the sentiment, I'd recommend everyone who doesn't like the hire to follow the "wait and see" approach . Without a decent QB and without seeing him call a single game for the Bills I think it's WAY too early to get too invested on either side of this hire. McDermott has the respect of a lot of people, and maybe there is actually a perception out there that he's building a winner here. It is an opportunity it get in on the ground floor. New England has been at the top of the AFC East for a long time, but there are signs the dynasty may be ready to crumble, leaving a vacuum for the team that is ready to fill it. I found this side tidbit equally as interesting with respect to Rex Ryan and difficulties here: “Like NFL offenses, in recent years NFL defenses have also become too wordy, relying on long-winded calls designating scheme and technique and impractical checks.
