Hebert19
They lose to Tennessee and who will they get in first round? Likely Tennessee. I've seen this play our before...never a good idea to let someone in the playoffs. So my take is they won't.
Boatdrinks
I doubt it , save for maybe a few beat up players that could suit up if they had to win. I think teams don't really want to take their foot off the gas too much; sometimes teams that rest starters come out flat in the playoffs. Look for them to maybe substitute a few players here and there if they get a substantial lead. No one wants to head into the playoffs on a two game slide. Steptide
I'd be surprised if they did. This isn't a team that's been in the playoffs year after year. They're a young team with a new head coach. Then again, it is Marrone and he does dumb things
Brianmoorman4jesus
The titans might not be able to beat backups. Mariota is a complete bust. A run first QB that can’t beat you when a team “makes him play qb” It’s a bad problem to have.....
boco357
And also Marone who got mad we lost the Hall of Fame game and also put their injured star WR(Watkins)in a 5th preseason game. Edited December 26, 2017 by boco357
YoloinOhio
No they won’t imo. Marrone almost went off the rails after he lost the HOF game in the preseason. He wants alll the winz. Also he lost to Tennessee once this year already. Won’t want to get swept, nor will he want to play them again in the WC.

It's just he was held up as the model franchise QB not that long ago.

Doc
I doubt it. First of all, it's not Coughln's style. Second, they don't want to lose a 2nd time to Tenn, let them into the playoffs, and then possibly face them again. Third, they'd be entering the playoffs with 2 straight losses. And last Marrone wants every win so he can go to the owner and demand contract extensions and more power.
Mr. WEO
Didn't they rest against the 49ers?
Patrick Duffy
I think if they do decide to rest the starters it will be later in the game and hopefully they will have a big lead by then.

Miyagi-Do Karate
I bet they will rest at least a few key guys.
YoloinOhio
The good news is that Hurns is actually back this week after missing 6 games. I think they will want to give him lots of reps before the playoffs. Also, Demarco Murray out for titans. billsfan89
I don't think Maronne is the type of guy that will rest players for no reason. I suspect anyone even remotely banged up will be rested however.
